A Specific Niche...

Looking at my stats over the last couple of years, I'm spread all over the board. I'm getting a gut feeling I should concentrate my efforts on a particular niche. Any thoughts on being a "niche" specific webmaster? Most my sales seem to come from my ebony and gay sites. I'm thinking about aiming all my efforts this year toward those two areas. Thoughts?

IMO promote what you are good at, can sell, and dabble in the rest. Eventually you can pick up a couple more niche. |santa|

If those are your strong sellers, then go with them a little more. Maybe build a gay and/or ebony hub as well :)

MrMaryLou 2003-12-14 10:32 AM

As a niched builder I say you answered your own question :)

What's throwing me for a loop is that I'm really not interested in building Ebony or Gay sites but if that is what is paying, I suppose I should just go with it....

I suppose it is time for those new year resolutions... I'm going to dedictate the entire year to the project.

Don't ya just hate that.... if gay sites started making me $$ I would just quit.. :(

..not that there is anything with that... :D

I get around 70% of sales from gay sites, thats abit anoying since I dont like building them (not comfortable with it really, nothing descriminating to it) but its making bank so I keep building :D

Maybe you should also take it up the ass a bit
so you know what your surfers are really looking for

Thanks for your 2 cents worth Tommy....

I heard you on the radio show... You don't list gay sites if I recall.

How do you have time to chime in on the board? Shouldn't you be getting the baby's room ready?

Tommy 2003-12-14 07:59 PM

lazyz 2003-12-14 08:08 PM

Yes... I know how exciting it can be... We've had four baby rooms over the years... Too many baby rooms! Then they get older... |violin|

Hey Tommy, you should really get a gay category, as I see it you are missing out on lots of ass banging!! |jester|
no seriousley, its money to be made and you dont need to review the gay sites your self :-) im sure you would get a pretty good amount of gay sales......although your traffic is much more straight im sure atleast 10,000 of em each day are looking for gay.
