Hey, I am wondering, is it still an idea to start a new TGP website...? Or do you guys think it has all been exhousted and there is no money in here anymore?

I have 2 things I want to try, an adult website or an online casino.

Do you guys have some info for me about starting an online casino?

I was half serious about gold & oil esspecially gold right now if you have money just speculate there, a hell of a lot better chance at making money and way less hours and research. Look at the price of gold the last five years on a graph :)

Nah... you're better off putting your money into US dollars. At least that way you can buy/sell stuff with it no matter where you are in the world. |loony|

The saying if you work hard you will have success is true. BUT...not always with this busniess anymore. There really is a lot of competition. Starting a TGP? LOL...if you are new that can be a good idea but NOT to make money with. It takes time to develop it and make money if any at all. But if you have money behind you and time to learn there is no reason why you cannot be successful.

Nowadays with money behind you you can buy gallery designs, submitter accounts all over the place and be getting 500K a day to your galleries within a month.

An adult website is a hell of a lot easier than an online casino. There are so many huge casinos already that spend millions on advertising. A small porn site is common & surfers know that they're only risking $20 or $30 to see what they get inside. If they don't like it, the can cancel.

A small casino smells like a scam. Why would you hand over money to some unknown site & hope that the games aren't fixed & that you'll be paid if you win? You'd go to a big site that has an established track record, plus cash bonuses for depositing money. IF it's legal at all to gamble from within the US, which is being heavily debated right now.

People will always want porn, but from my little time in this business (only half a year by now), I am not so sure it's that much of a money maker. The way I see it, the market is being flooded by free porn, and surfers are paying less and less for it. I am not giving up on making money in this, but comparing effective CPM in porn to what I have in mainstream sites, and considering that serving pageviews in mainstream is a whole lot cheaper (bandwidth issues), then my advice for newbies would be to go for mainstream first. More money there, so it seems to me at least.

I will still be doing both, simply because I am already making nice money from mainstream sites and want to balance it with another field (not to be too dependent on adsense more than anything). But it's definitely is no jackpot.
