Sex Toys Tax-Deductible in Australia
 

SYDNEY, Australia - Prostitutes, strippers and lap dancers can claim tax deductions for adult toys and lingerie, officials said Friday, as the Australian Taxation Office issued a list of deductible items for the sex industry.

Being my wife is a cam girl and we pay her taxes from her income on a 1099. This year was the 1st one after speaking with my accountant that we were able to write off a ton of stuff for her. Toys, clothes, shoes (thats a big one), gym, hair salon. Basicly we were told anything that pertains to her maintaining her apperance can almost be written off being thats how she makes her living. Sex toys were the first on the list lol. We wrote off up to 3500K worth of stuff she bought last year.

Well - it looks like the US is going the opposite direction since its already illegal to sell sex toys in Mississippi, Texas and Alabama and Tennessee and So Carolina have just introduced bills to ban them as well. Amazing |crazy|

I havent been posting much cos I need to work on mainstream dev projects a bit to make some more money. I am going to try and split my week in two to do both just right now though I am struggling to learn a bit more about windows servers and asp.net as I am using it for a project.
