Happy, Birds are singing Saturday
 

I slept last night from 7 PM until this morning at 6 AM
It's been a long time since I have slept that many hours and feel this rested.

The weather is supposed to be nice and again, the lawn needs mowing and the wife is going plant shopping :)

Other than that, I will just be piddling around this morning around here.

Nice Jim... I would pay top dollar to have a night like that!

I was beat last night and went to bed early for me. Golf and then watching hockey must have drained me. LOL

My trees got chopped down |angry| last summer so i have no birds to wake me up.. |bananna|

of course that means NO shade either.. |cry| and the front of my house faces west so it's 2x the AC that i'd normally need.

It's off to the Races today.. have to run place some bets at the Palms for a few of my pals that don't live near an OTB (not MML's) office. Maybe one will hit big and i can run off to Jamaica. :D

Sunny and 84 today...perfect weather. I'm off to the swap hopefully i'll be able to grin and "bear" it today. |yawn|

Blue skies, loud jets, traffic barricades everywhere, must be Air and Sea Show weekend. Not a lot going on today other then cleaning my house and getting stuff for tomorrow's BBQ at my neighbor's place plus a trip to Home Depot to pickup some stuff to get ready for this year's storm season. The jets are flying in formation so low over my neighborhood that you can see the rivets on them which is kind of kewl but also very annoying and the traffic barricades all over my neighborhood along with A1A being closed is causing traffic nightmare.

The FOB for my Vette stopped staying in sync with it this week. I tried changing its battery but it would only stay synced for less then five minutes. My Vette came with two FOBs and then other one went bad a few years ago. So I bought a new FOB for it yesterday and problem solved but damn I can't believe they charge $145 for a FOB.

Are we there yet?

Morning! Yesterday was a very stressful day for us. My nephew who is dying (cancer |banghead|) was put into ICU so we drove to Lakeland to see him probably for the last time. The million dollar question I have is why does it always happen to the good ones?? I know there is no answer to that. |huh

So today I need to catch up! Did wake up to some nice sales, which made me happy as last week sucked.....|thumb

Another exciting day in Montreal.

I was up to about 4am helping a friend of mine with a realtionship issue. She is really much younger and not as experienced in life, and got into a weird circumstance. I helped her talk it out to herself, and I think she is happier with things now.

I also saw MI3 last night. Honestly, it will sell well, but I think it is a fairly weak movie with a reasonably light weight premise and a poorly explained finish that left all of the people in my group asking questions because they weren't sure who the "bad" people really were - and not in that good way "did they really do it" but "what the fuck". The only good feature is that it is a little more of a team movie, with more players around Cruise to keep it from being just a dump ass movie. The scenes shot in Shanghai are really great to look at :)

So today is starting a little slow, I have a get together in a little while and then I will be back here to work like a dog. Things to do, ideas to convert to reality... it's all good :)

our weather is chilly but I am feeding the birds all winter so they are singing loudly all day and I am loving it. :D Love the three small blackbird babies in the nest at my window, they are so funny. And all birds are healthy so I am hopeful the bird flu is not so dangerous as we were told. Lots of panicking always...
