Gonzales and Mueller threatening to resign
 

It seems that Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and FBI Director Robert Mueller are threatening to resign, if Bush proceeds with blocking evidence seized from congressmans office.

It certainly is an interesting situation since no office in congress has ever been raided before - should be quite the fight between the three branches of govt :) - of course the underlying corruption will just get swept away

While it appears Jefferson is guilty it also appears that because he's not a member of "The Party" that he doesn't have the same rights as other Congressmen.

It's going to be interesting.

In truth I don't think they have any intentions of leaving but making these statements distances them from the administration, which is a good thing for Dubya on this issue. Mayne they're just following their bosses lead.
