Nats question and HFS?
I've just been using my unencoded ID when adding in HFS but now I'm not sure if I'm actually getting credit for sales from them.
This is mostly concerning using links supplied by hfslinks.com where we just put in our ID and it returns a list of links. I notice that http://free.ocxxx.com/sites/18i/01mo...cfrevshare:18I sets a cookie as soon as I click on an ad But I noticed that http://free.ocxxx.com/sites/18i/01movies/?nats=sexycleo doesn't set a cookie until I click through to the join page. Also if you look at the URL after clicking on an ad all I see is the site URL in the second case. |
I noticed that with another sponsor's HFS. Because I'm only using hfslinks.com I told Chop about it and he fixed it, so he might know something more about this issue.

Yeah I'm pretty much only using stuff from Chop's site too.
I think today is the first time that I've ever used HFS links that used Nats that weren't through Chop's site so I guess that is why I noticed this just now. It would be nice if we could get someone from Nats over here to explain Nats better… |
IMO, the key is to make sure that the trailing garbage is included in the link:
Like this: PHP Code:
PHP Code:
Also, I have noticed the use of commas in the linking codes with a NATS user like: PHP Code:
|
So this would make the link code different that goes after the ?nats= for each different pay site that the free sites are promoting. :(
I'm going to have to go back in and look at each HFS that I have listed at my LL that uses Nats to see if this is an issue with all programs that use Nats but I'm thinking that it is. |
