DreamHost DNS Issues
 

Guess I'm not the only one here affected by this? All my freesites hosted on DreamHost have been down around 11(!) hours now along with who knows how many others, seems they've fucked up seriously (see http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/)

So please don't blacklist or anything if my freesites on www.cumslutworld.com are not responding. Obviously I can't say how long this will continue...

Not only is dreamhost down, but servage seems to have disappeared from this world allso.

I have the same problem @ servage (they were fine untill now)
Seems ok again so I hope you wont blacklist my freesites @

Part of e-mail from DreamHost I got after complaining:

"...There were over 50k domains affected, and the DNS updater is still running. We estimate the issues to be gone sometime later this morning, but unfortunately, do not have a more exact ETA on this."

50k domains, mmmm....

Dream host is finally back up for me

After being down for a day dreamhost finally is back working. I just wonder how much damage this has done with my referrers |confused|

Hey.. where in Wisconsin are you located? Just curious.. if you end up looking for another host, our data center is in Milwaukee.

I have a lot of stuff on DH and as far as I know haven't been affected at all. Guess I was one of the lucky ones.

Yeah I havent noticed any problem either.

2-3 of my domains were up and running all time long.

the rest was slayered by this accident, so i was biting my nails like hell here.
I do belive a few freesites were dropped for obvious reasons at LL's, and loads of my galleries were dropped.

I just hope and pray to the mighty lord that i havent been blacklisted:)

This is why you spread out the risk... DNS-servers in holland, server in USA, programmer in Sweden :)
