this is one of the few times you'll ever get to spam over at greenguyandjim ;)

looking to create a thread that includes a master list of sites that have RSS feeds that are republishable.

WE PREFERE THAT ACCOUNT REPS are the ones that post it. Remember it is not always smiled upon for people to include their webmaster referral codes here, read the rules before you do.

I'm not certain if you want just the sponsor site URL or the whole list of feeds, so I guess I'll drop my entire load and hope for the best.

So, after seeing your newer thread about RSS feeds, though that one wasn't targetted at sponsors (I don't think so anyway), I'm wondering if you meant ALL types of RSS feeds, or did you have something else in mind in this thread? More and more sponsors are offering some type of syndicated content, but most of it is shit. Oh, excuse me, I meant "in my humble opinion" most if it is shit. :D Mostly, I'm seeing feeds of their newest FHG listings and stuff of that ilk. To me that's shit, but I'm sure someone must want it.

Are many bloggers using those types of feeds? I assume that the majority of serious bloggers want text feeds, not blocks of thumbs, gallery listings, or cam show schedules. Of course, my assumptions have led me astray in the past and we don't want to happen again. Do we?

Useless.....your right most sponsor feeds are shit and that's not my opinion, its a fact. Those few that do offer feeds that are usable to serious adult bloggers aren't as good as they could be. I took the other post as setting a qualtiy standard....but perhaps I'm wrong.

Oh my gosh no! For as long as I've been on this board and before then lurking, people have teased UW about his nick and sometimes cranky nature. Now perhaps I don't know him personally and therefore my post was seen as a possible slam but nothing could be further from the truth. I was only jesting and under the impression that UW had an interest in chopcash.

I was more than pleased to find another sponsor pointed out to me that had RSS feeds as it has been a direct project of mine for the last couple of days. No, no, no, just playing. You'll be hard pressed to find me insulting anybody, ever!

I have split it down into valid, valid with warning, invalid. Quite a lot of those which don't fully validate will actually work okay, but that split is intended to give an idea of which need to be checked most carefully after inclusion.

I deliberately made no attempt to comment on what I think of the material the feeds include. Taste is involved and we all have different sites and different needs of these feeds. But I would definitely agree that very few of the feeds available to date are close to being well conceived or executed.

The list is down the page, btw, under some blurb about using them.

It's fairly obvious that anything posted on a given date can be out of date the next day. I wrote to that effect in the article itself. But unless I spot additions myself or other people are more interested in being useful than being smart, there isn't a whole lot to be done about that. Is there?
