The damned AF is paying scientists to study blogs - 450 thousand dollars to figure out bloggers that post about their cats (or related body parts) |banghead|

If nothing else, we know how to piss money away. I saw last week on NBCs, "Fleecing of America", a new levitation system built for submarine seats. It works with magnets. The Navy said they didn't want them but we are still spending millions on the development.

Seems more like a way to control propaganda then anything.

I wonder who's cousin is getting all the money for the research and the seats.

Wouldnt surprise me a bit - look at the former first lady's donation to the Katrina Fund - she donated money with a stipulation that it be used to only buy software for schools - a specific program - that her son Neil's company produces (Georgies brother that stole those millions of dollars during the savings and loan scandals and ended up pleading out of court to a $50k settlement for the millions he stole)
