902 X 600 Pics. Too Wide?
Does the "800" rule apply to pics as well? Or can they be larger. My hubby just finished making our first free hosted site for our program, and just realized he made them 902 X 600. |huh

I don't mind pics wider then 800 pixels.
I figure people can set their browsers to auto resize pics to fit if they don't like the wider pics and those with their browsers set to a wider size will be happy too. |
The pics can be geometrically as large as you want them to be, as long as you keep them in the neighborhood of 80kb without screwing up their visual quality.

Great to hear you two! Thanks so much for the quick replies! |bananna|
All of our new stuff from our new equipment is coming in at 75k - 95k, and I told my hubby to make sure he stays under 100k. |thumb |
Yep, no worries on dimensions here either |thumb
But, do be careful of the image weight. I know of at least one reviewer that will decline sites if images are over 80k. |
Blech |angry|
A Quality 92.45k'er should be preferred over a 79.995 stinker! |bananna

You know I value your input always! Now have a little lick ... |boobies
550 width max for free sites I use (some link-list have 'min 500px on the longest size' rule) and 650 width for tgp, also allowed minimum. make them go inside your members area for bigger pics and tease them on you free site pages. why give them all for free especially if it cost you additional bandwidth...
