To wmv or not to wmv, that is the question...
 

Do "most" link list owners care whether the movie clips are wmv or mpg?

Mpeg-1 (MPG) gets my vote but both are fine.

I have converted most of my members area to WMV now, and my members have had no complaints at all. In fact I get several emails a week from members thanking me for having them in WMV. Why I don't know, but as long as they are happy. |bananna|

Thanks for the comments cleo and lorsha. Im going to go with wmv at first I guess. Just to save a bit of disk space... If things go well I may switch to mpg and get some extra hard drive space at my server :)

One thing to consider is that mpg can be protected against hotlinking through simple htaccess but you will need a script to prevent wmv files from being hotlinked.
