Free Site layouts...

Just a quick question (mostly for fellow link site owners)...

Is it my imagination, or should there not be any "porn links" above the warning details on the entry page of Free Gallery Sites ?

Shouldn't the layout on the entry page be:

1st. Title
2nd. Warning
3rd. Recips
4th. enter / leave buttons
5th. banner or porn link (if any)

I don't see why. I assume the logic is that the surfer should be warned before even encountering a potentially "harmful" link, and I think that's taking it a bit too far. With your setup only the space below the enter link is available for advertising. Let's not forget we're in this to make sales. :D

Personally I don't nitpick about the layout as long as recips are above enter and both enter and warning are clear and easy to find.

I agree with Lemmy's statement, we're into this for sales and we have to make them ( althought I'm not for "do whatever it takes for it" ). Personally, I like small but explicit warning messages at the top of the page ( it can fit right after the title nicely and still have good space for adv banners / links ).

I agree with the previous responses. Changing it as you describe would be over the top imo :)

I was just curious...I doubt it would go over well to change it anyways...lol Anyways, time to go suntan and have a nice ice cold beer :)

In my opinion warning pages are useless anyway and on free sites it should be their only role to provide more space for advertising and backlinks.
Nobody coming from a porn link list will be offended by porn or needs to be warned.
Nobody coming from a search engine needs to be warned as he most likely didn't search for "Mickey Mouse".

I do agree with Jeka. More of an 'entry' page than a real 'warning' page im(limited)ho.
