Who hasn't started xmas shopping?
 

OK, we don't normally trade gifts in my family, only the girls make something and exchange the gifts these days, but I still havnt bought something for my wife. Since we live in the boonies its hard to go shopping now, but thankfully we leave tonight to the big city for the week to spend time with the family. Looks like I will have to shop there :)

She wants a new desk, maybe I will just order that online and have it shipped...hehe.

Speaking of spouses exchanging gifts, my wife and I decided to give eachother money. I found out last week by accident, that she spent her money on a Christmas Gift for me. I spent mine on things for my bike.

Now I am trying to figure out what to do. :)

The chia pet idea just won't work. Since I have camera's looking at my driveway, I always get the ups or fedex deliveries. Last week I got a commercial meat slicer that I have been begging for for over 5 years.

Knowing who it was for, I still asked my wife, who did we buy the meat slicer for? Wow, was she pissed at the shipping company for not putting in any kind of a box other than the box that had a picture of a meat slicer.

So, I have been slicing meat for the past few days...just can't get enough of fresh cold cuts :) I am roasting a small beef roast today just to slice it up :)

I never start shoping before the 23rd, it's no sport otherwise. There is a whole new game when you come to the stores and realize that's everything is out of stock, that you had planned to buy...
