Happy Wet and Wild Wednesday :)

Jesus, it's HOT! At least that's what they say on TV :) I prefer to stay in the AC during this time of people falling over from heat exhaustion.

Anyway, finally...no more weddings or birthdays. I am sick of seeing my kid's faces :)

Let's all think cool thoughts ..... |snowman|

Have a great day everyone!

Fonz 2006-08-02 08:00 AM

Morning all,

Cloudy and not to hot again today, wunderground tells me it's 22°C/71°F.

I'm in a pretty productive mood the last couple of weeks, my stats tell me the same :)
I can only hope the usual burnout stays away for a couple more weeks now that I'm on a roll.

Anyway, have a nice day all.

Yeah - what the fuck is the "heat index"? Is that the opposite of "wind chill"? All the local news people talked about yesterday was the heat & how we should not leave the elderly outside & make sure they have plenty of water. It was 87 - that's nothing! I remember summer 2001 had 8 or 9 days over 90 & it didn't rain for 7 weeks. Two days of heat & all of a sudden, that's all that matters. Global warming is coming - Al Gore was right once again |shocking|

So good fucking morning |waves|

Day 2 of my laptop adventures - I actually got a lot done yesterday, but the laptop is not nearly as fast as the PC - it's sort of like an old car that runs great once it gets going. As soon as I'm done here, I'll go check my mail & Eudora will crawl along for 5 minutes or so & then work fine. But once I go back to IE, I'll have to wait for it to get warmed up before it decided to work |banghead|

I can't wait for the weekend |bananna|

I'm a woman with a lot of gas this morning.

Bought 197.5 gallons of gas yesterday. Filled up both my 55 gallon drums, the tank on my generator, my car's gas tank, plus all 13 five gallon gas cans that I have. Then I went to the grocery store and bought a bunch of food plus I've been having Zephyrhills water deliver extra water for the last few months so I have around 100 gallons of bottled water in my garage.

Already very sore from dragging all these hurricane supplies around but being the sadistic bitch that I am going to the gym once I'm awake to torture my body a bit more.

Other than that it is a beautiful day out so may hit the beach after the gym and enjoy our weather before the hurricane comes and destroys paradise again this year.

Happy storms to all…

Good Morning All :)

dareutwo 2006-08-02 09:10 AM

Morning all -
Looks like a nice day here. High about 80F.

Cleo generally bulk fuel dealers will deliver if it's over 100 gallons. Saves a lot of running around, and it's not heavy :)

Got a lot to try and get started on today, better get at it.

Coffee's now being served.

Mornin all |waves|

Still sick as a dog here...grrrrr...I HATE being sick |angry|

But, since she passed it along...the lil sex monkey is feeling better and went back to work today. hmmm...maybe I should go out in public and give this to someone :D

Nah...I'm not like that...heading back to bed...

Good morning world |waves|

Greenie, sounds like your laptop needs more RAM. Either that or there's not much room on your hard drive, which might affect your virtual swap file(s). Or however they do it in Windows World. :)

That damn storm track doesn't look good for us so far. I need to go get some fresh storm supplies later today, but I need to hang around to sign for Fonz's package first.

Well, I stayed up waaaay too late and the wife woke me up around 8 AM so I could take the lad to a doctors appointment. I was betting on Mongolian Swamp Fever, but it's just Tonsillitis.

I still haven't had my first cup of coffee today - damn it. Yesterday's lack of accomplishments have motivated me to do even less today.

JustRobert 2006-08-02 11:01 AM

Hello to everyone :)
Taking off in a couple of hours to 1.5 days of big rollercoasters. Which reminds me I need to schedule a chiropractor appointment and a massage. I feel like I am getting to old for this stuff.

This weekend is the last one before the kids head back to school and we were going to go camping. Now it's on "wait and see" status as I don't like being in a tent if there's a high chance of rain. Hopefully it will hurry up and decide to fizzle.

|yawn| I was up too late last night and I'm still tired.. time for more coffee.

docholly 2006-08-02 11:42 AM

Morning.. still looking for the good |club|

had all gone as planned at this moment i'd of been rocking thru the rockies in the bar car..instead of sweating in my non-A/C room with my wired jaw. 2 more days at least of sipping creamy stuff through a straw.. and not being able to yell properly at the AC people for not finishing their job yesterday.

I blame it on UW for lack of a better place to lay fault.

So another day of drugs, napping, more drugs, napping .. possible trip to the Palms to get my football registrations done and oh did i mention drugs and napping??

|waves| have a good one, Sugar tits!!

ponygirl 2006-08-02 11:47 AM

Good Afternoon everyone!

What an awesome storm we had here last night, still thousands without power. Things were moved around in my backyard and tree branches are down all over the road. I have never seen so much lightening and such a heavy down pour with such high winds as I did last night. Its scary actually.

Anyway.. looks like rain is coming and I need to get some work done quick in case my power goes out.

Have a great day!

Mr. Blue 2006-08-02 02:13 PM

Good afternnoon everyone :)

It's hot here, yeah, and I'm walking the dogs and my neighbor comes up and asks the question, "Is it hot enough for you?"....I hate when people ask that question...no, no, it's not hot enough, I'm going to sit in my oven now just so I can achieve the proper hotness.

Ahh airconditioning is so nice though, lol

digifan 2006-08-02 02:43 PM

Like the tornado isn't enough, I am trying to move a tgp... unable to back the script part up lacking permissions for some odd reason for mysql dump so it will take time, more time than I thought first on my wobbly connection.

Evil Chris 2006-08-02 03:13 PM

Last night may have been the most impressive electrical storms I have ever seen in my life.
Usually our power goes out for many hours, but it was down for only an hour thankfully.

I tell you this, when a transformer explodes in the distance, those blue lights in the sky are impressive. :)
