Icq crash anyone else?
Mine has been acting up lately and lost a lot of contacts and all my history... not that this new version for mac os X had scrollable history window for me ever.
So if someone is missing me I am still around just have this problem. |
Hiya Digifan :)
Glad to hear you're back home, and hope the recovery goes well. Have you tried using Fire instead of the ICQ client? It's like an aggregator for chat. You can access your icq, aim, yahoo, irc, jabber, msn, and google talk accounts from one interface. Scrollable histories for all accounts and services. Searchable chat logs. Tabbed interface. Themes. I haven't used any of the individual clients for years. If you give it a try and have any trouble configuring it, just let me know and I'll be glad to help. :) |

Lol @ kinky :)
Thanks Simon, I tried and installed it after getting authenticated by some of the people I got lost. The fire is still new to me, miss thos silly sounds a lot, silly me :) Other than that thanks I am on the way of recovery hopefully or just won another battle and some borrowed time - time will tell... just I am sooo hungry or it can be too much acid and some sort of ulcer, all I can take is fluids through this nose tube for min ten days. :( |
Poke around in your preferences a bit and you'll see icons for Sounds and for Notifications. Between those you may be able to restore the noisy chat if you want it. Fire will speak to you too if you want, with a range of voices. It will say when someone log on (and off if you want) by name, read their first message to you, or read every message.
Keep strong and that tube will be gone soon. :) |
