extremepaychecks sales down?

hey guys are other people finding that since the new system their sales are down?

mine are less than 1/4 of what they used to be and I'm curious to know if this is the trend everyone else is finding?

Sales for me are up this pay period from the last one & the last one was about the same as the previous (before the changeover)

The one thing I did notice - especially in this PP - is that my ratio is awesome compared to any previous PP :D

garv 2003-12-23 02:21 PM

hmmm I must be doing something wrong, traffic is all coming from the same places just more of it, normally get between 1:234 and 1:350 but this PP it's 0 a complete shock.

will have to look into it more

my traffic disappeared i know that way down dont know what happened. about a 1/4 of what i had before the change and i updated links who knows?

Nickname 2003-12-23 11:00 PM

Im getting less signups.....and hits

dont know if it has to do with the old/new linkcodes, but its definatley much lower signups since switch........but then everyone has periods like that, might be way up there next period.....

Wow this is odd, as a whole sales are way up as well as traffic being way up since the new program release. Ill be more than happy to work with any of you in trying to see what the issue might be, if there is an issue at this point, or if it's just a case of a few lower sales for a few affiliates, but like I said overall accross the board, numbers are way up for the majority of our affiliates. If anyone needs my help you can always PM me, or hit my Icq: 51299342

On Extreme Paychecks or overall?

Guess the old saying still holds true, not everyone can have the same results with the same programs as everyone else in the same programs.

docholly 2003-12-24 08:56 AM

I realy like extreme paychecks they convert very well for me, i know why my sales went down, because i didnt send enough traffic but my ratio is still high!!!

WicKed 2003-12-24 01:10 PM

it has picked back up for me now, it was the past 2 or 3 periods for me that were shitty....its nice to see an improvment.

Troy, did someone get back to you? In regards to your email?

Also keep in mind traffic might seem light, and this will be the case if your using mostly Hosted Sites & The Old form of linking to our Hosted Galleries, the traffic is counted differently now than it was than and that will cause the difference in traffic itself, however Sales Tracking Module's did not change, so sales should not be effected at all.

Tommy 2003-12-24 03:01 PM

John I have noticed sales are off with your program

also I was just noticing a lot of your newer hosted gallerys seem to be G rated is this gonna be the new trend at extreme

troy 2003-12-24 04:46 PM

Yes John I got a reply the same thing you are saying now.
I always get immediate respons with you guys

Site Raw Unq Sales Ratio Earnings
Total 1616 1542 0 n/a 0.00

Fine ratio last pay period and the two periods before that. Not so great this pay period so far.

Ramster 2003-12-26 06:24 PM

I only send a trickle of traffic from the free sites they offer and I'm 1:77 at the moment and was 1:87 last period.

Extreme John 2003-12-28 08:08 AM

These type of posts always seem to be somewhat less productive than one would think, at least thats my thought, the reason I say that is because for every good there's a bad or very every bad there might be 10 goods.

Tommy as for the Hosted galleries, I wouldnt say they are all G-Rated, I would say we have always been a more Niche company than a Hardcore company, we do have some Hardcore sites, but we have always had alot more Niche & Micro Niche sites, with so many Micro niche & Niche sites it will always seem as if there is more "G-Rated" stuff in the mailer than anything else.

In regards to the sales, or conversions being off for some Affiliates, Ill say the same thing I have always said, "Youll get in what you put out", meaning if your relying on Free Hosted Galleries & free Hosted Sites (The same ones everyone else uses), than your going to get those results, those affiliates using the Free Hosted Stuff, but also using "Money Tables", "Banners or Text Links" on their site will achieve better results, those affiliates that go out and are creative and work hard, will always generate more money, the affiliate that builds galleries (regardless if it's with the same content or not), will always generate more clicks, and sales than an affiliate only doing 20% of the tasks. I see it everyday, there's plenty of huge traffic sources out there today that think it's all about the "Free Hosted Galleries", than there's the little guy that no one knows of, that no one hears about, and that youve probably never met, that makes 1 gallery a night and triples the sales of that "HUGE" traffic site/source. Trust me, this isnt made up stuff, it's the facts, in the past if my sales were down with an affiliate program, I looked in the mirror before I looked at anyone else, perfect example of that was ARS back in the summer of 1999, I was making some excellent loot with them, than the summer came, I sat on the couch, played plenty of PS2, watched plenty of Jenny Jones, and went to plenty of BBQ's, than when my checks came in and they sucked along with my Conversions, I could have called Becky over at ARS (she was who I always dealt with), or I could have really looked at how much I put into making the sale.

Im not saying it's always the affiliates fault by any means, Im just saying with our average Overall conversion accross the board at 1:219 for the month of December, and over 3k active affiliates throwing traffic at us, there has to be more to the puzzle.

garv 2004-01-01 09:38 AM

Hey John, I don't know what it was but the first part of the last pay period sucked 0 sales then from the 24th onwards ended with a 1:295 for the pay period. Same traffic from mixed, SE traffic, text links, banners, TGP and free hosted galleries. Turned into one of the best pay periods yet, I was just shocked that it started so slow and was wondering if anyone else was having the same issues since the implementation of the new system.

My sales from EP has been about the same, but I can say that my sales from everywhere this last week sucked green slimy rancid donkey dicks.

Hopefully with the holidays now over people will be firing up their shinny new computers and doing some serious porn surfing.

People have to remember that sponsor sales go up and down!

If they go to 1:3000 then that does suck...But you could have 10 sales in the next 3000 hits. If you don't look at the way you promote them as that could be it too.

Here's a funny example.
2 days ago with a sponsor I promote a lot:
1,353 (hits) 1 (sales) 1:1353 $30.00 (made)
BUT, the day before was great for conversions:
1,458 (hits) 10 (sales) 1: 146 $300.00 (made)

Ya just never know. One thing I do know is if you spend time sending traffic to a sponsor you will see ups and downs. If there are too many downs change sponsors. And remember it always the sponsor's fault.

Extreme John 2004-01-01 11:03 AM

Ramster pretty much hit it on the head, everything in every business has trends, ofcourse when you change your system or your program it's easy to start thinking the new stuff might be the problem, when in fact people getting ready for the holidays, etc. can easily effect sales accross the board, Garv would be a perfect example, first 2 weeks of December sales were down (for us), the last 2 weeks, sales have been huge, breaking records for us on a daily basis, and hourly basis.

It's business.
