trying this again ... new LL needs help
 

Anyone with a LL (or knowledge with LL's) that has time to help a link list newbie out? I am building a LL and am trying to find ways of getting more sites submitted and get better traffic. Thanks in advance.

I have just built a new linklist and I know the frustration involved. The main thing that I have learned as a newbie is to build up your links with a lot of sites. Depending on what kind of script you have, you can do it automatically or manually. I've taken the manual route|angry|

It can be frustrating starting out. I know it is for me. The best thing to do is watch the board and learn. If you wanna do a link trade, I would be glad to trade with you. I took a look at your site and it looks nice and clean. Give me a yell. The main thing is patience. Optimize your site for the SE's and than work on recip trades.

I'm gonna have to submit the links myself. Ick. But, where do I get the links? I don't want to just copy them from another link list ... And I only have about 20 free sites so far. So thats not gonna fly.
I'd love to trade links with you. That would be really cool.
As far as optimizing the site for the SE's .. not sure how to do that. I'll get it though. :)

Must finish wrapping xmas presents for my 3 boys and husband now. (thats alot of damn presents) Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Doll:hi: when i started my first linksite i did copie links from other linksites(with asking permission ofcourse).....getting traffic and submission to your linksite just isnt that easy you have to build that traffic flow, it takes time and patience......

try trading submit page links with other link lists. also surf other link lists for sites that you would list. then email the webmaster and ask them to submit to you in the future. good luck

I think I'm being pretty patient for the most part. I'm just wondering if I'm missing something I should be doing. I've built a few free sites (still a newbie at that) and just started attempting the LL. I'm a member at one other board and have learned ALOT. But I think its good to look at many places to get all the info you can get. I'm just now starting to get a little brave. :D
