LL closing down
Hi, my LL Sue's Sexy Sites will no longer be taking submits. I will leave it up for a week or two until I get a new design done. I will still be using the domain for free site submitting, will be turning my LL into a hub. I'm sure not on the best way to do this as far as trades go, maybe some can give me some advice please?
The reason I'm shutting down is actually a good thing! I have taken on some new projects, and my daughter and I are working on an non-adult business we hope to have up and running by the first of the year. This is exciting for us, but the one thing I don't have is enough time. I had to ease my work load somehow and I chose my LL as going threw submits as a lot of you know is not easy. In order to have an offline life, which can be quite busy at times I've made this decision. I want to thank my loyal submitters I have had over the past two years or so. I really appreciate all the quality sites you submitted to me|thumb Thanks for understanding and sorry if this has caused a problem for anyone. |
Sorry to hear that Sue's is closing to submits, but it's nice that you have new projects to focus on.
Good luck Sue, and many thanks for the traffic! |bow| |
I'm also sorry to hear that Sue, you've been a good trade partner. Best of luck with your new ventures. |thumb
IMO, linklists don't need to die. If you close your submits, just leave your cat pages as is and have a link on the bottom of your hub point to them. They'll still see SE traffic and your trade partners will still have existing trades and you might even see income on those pages. Just a thought. |huh |

Good luck with the non-adult business btw. Sue :) |
Thanks for the well wishes |thumb KG Gary you were one of my favorite submitters, knew when I saw your sites it was an automatic validation!!
Thanks Fonz and Preacher I wasn't sure I could just leave it up without taking submits. I thought the people I trade links with would frown on that. It sure would be easier to leave it as is than make something new, great advice |thumb |
Sue - I'll keep all my links to your site in place as long as you want to keep mine there, no problem at all. :)
And good luck with the new project. You'd uhh... you'd tell us if it was cameltoe-related, right? :D |
|cry| that's too bad, but it sounds like you're still going to hang around right (you better|club|hehe)
good luck with your offline biz, it's always fun to branch out & do different things! And don't worry about the trades, as long as you're leaving the sites online the trades are fine :) |
Simon, thanks for offering to keep trading with me, and of course I'll take you up on that |thumb No it's not cameltoe related....LOL Believe it or not my daughter and I have discovered we have some artist bones in us |shocking| We both never out grew our love for dolls, so we made some and they sold like crazy. That is our new offline adventure, which will involve going to craft shows, flea markets etc.
Ponygirl thank you also for offering to keep the trades up I appreciate it. And no I'm not going anywhere, still plan on making my free sites and hubs till I'm 80 or drop dead which ever comes first....:D Of course you know you were my very favorite submitter.....|thumb |
Good luck, Sue, in your new venture.
|
Blessings! |waves|
Sorry... I didn't have anything else to say. :) |

Your guys rock!! Thanks for all the well wishes with our new project to all of you.
My daughter is not only beautiful she's very smart (mom bragging) She's a single mom, trying to get her master's degree in Forensics, and working. My husband and I really feel Josh and her schooling are the most important. So that is why we are doing this, we are backing her up financially and I'm giving her a push by helping her with some dolls. It's really going to be her business we are getting her started. It will benefit us as well because this way I'll be able to spend more time with her and of course my grandson the cutest 3 year in the world (grandma bragging) will get more time with his Mom |thumb Thanks again!! |
