Where to dump japanese traffic?
 

Hello,

Please spam me with possible destinations for traffic comming from Japan (99%). Those freeloaders burned like 160 GB in less than 24 hours. So I'm looking for a place to dump them, because this way I'll burn all my traffic in less than a week.

Forgot to mention, that is gallery traffic.

Find someone you don't like who has a small virtual hosting account and redirect it to them. You won't make any money from that traffic no matter what you do, so you may as well get some pleasure from it.

I was afraid somebody will say that there is no way to make money from that traffic, but I was hoping there may be something out there.

I vote: use htaccess to block whatever referrer is sending you that crap traffic and/or remove them from your submit list.

EDIT: Just remembered, Japanese people have a real thing with cell phones... it puts American teenagers to shame! Maybe find some Japanese cell phone game affiliate program, or something? |huh

I'm not scared of Japanese traffic.

We have many Japanese members. They're not all freeloaders, you just have to have a product they want enough to pay for. Try filtering them to specific niches.

I spent a month in Japan back in '96. Even back then, every adult seemed to have a cell phone in one hand and a cigarette in the other. I've never seen such a cell phone crazed, chain smoking group of people. If it wasn't for all of the hot chicks and amazing history wandering about, Japan would be my hell.

I think it's odd that in Japanese Anime characters are shocked when they come across someone who doesn't have a cell phone... and they'll talk to each other over their cells when in the next room! My favorite though are the long, sappy music, montages on a flipped open cell phone with random bits of conversations pouring out with no one in the room. |loony|

AV Deluxe features Japanese AV idols movies, and you can also link to Japanese language tours.

There's a sponsor called DTI Cash that specializes in Asian sites and traffic. They have 7 sites that are in Japanese language, including webcams and a hub site that promotes all their sites (that might be the best place to send blind Japanese traffic). They also have sites in Korean, Chinese and English.

I'll try your sugestions, and hope they will work. Now the traffic is much much lower than the first day, that was the first day I submited to that TGP. Then I saw the gallery listed on some others, and this is how I got around 50.000 uniques in 24 hours and not a dime from sales.

I had some great suggestions, but it looks like I arrived to the party too late.... (I'm in Japan at least once a year, hopefully more in the future.)

Saturnin, if you have those suggestions, you could dump'em here, maybe it wil help some other webmaster.

Unproductive traffic
 

Hi Kitty Kate,

Japanese traffic do spend money, but mostly on certain niches. ie sailor uniform, young softcore panties, hentai all which are very popular with the Japanese. If you don't want to handle that kind of content, Might I suggest that you create a toplist and redirect all your unproductive countries to it and exchange it for a whole load of new countries that are more in line with your content :)
