What did you get for Christmas?

I finally got my stoller for little Tatiana so when she's born I can take here styling around town.

It's a Maclaren 2003 Global Buggy convertible pram, buggy and baby carrier with aluminum frame, 8 6-inch 8 spoke polyurethane wheels, extended long lasting riveted leg rest, high impact all wheel independent suspension, x-frame supported over sized under carriage mesh basket, separate double rear wheel safety breaking mechanisms, directional front wheel locks, over sized triple layered waterproof hood with topside viewing area, double wide removable ultra padded 5 position adjustable reclining seat, complete with flexible metal frame baby carrier support bar, full size double thick long lasting rain cover, triple lined waterproof machine washable 3 position zipper enclosed weather protection boot, ergonomically designed soft padded long lasting pushing handles with matching car seat cover and one handed fold.

Oh yeah, and it’s blue.

Santa brought the old Chop a new camera, Sony Cyber_shot P8 with a 256K memory stick. This is a shot taken by my son as he was learning to borrow it.

Some new clothes which i also wanted, the Will & Grace Season 1 on DVD, Bad Boys II, and a few other Dvd's as well. Oh yeah got some excellent new luggage for my Vegas trip in 7 days |bananna|

I got a new Sony Digital camera, some DVD's, CD's, power tools, and xxxsuperlinks.|couch| I also got to see my 5 year old son for the first time since being recalled for the iraq conflict. Overall, a very good Christmas.

I got a whole case of Stoli, as usual, Terminator 3 DVD and one book that tells our war with Russia in WW II.

One and a half bottle of Stoli has gone. We watched Terminator 3 last night. It has so much of action that I'm not sure what really happened. We must watch it again. It really needs a real home theater. We have 2 meter wide screen, but I hoped it's bigger. I have enough space to bolt the video cannon far enough from silver screen to get bigger picture, but I don't have enough space in wall for bigger silver screen. Maybe I take the book case down...

I haven't start the book yet. I'll do that in January.

i got my husband home from the Gulf of Oman for 8 days and for the very 1st time since we got married, his son is here with us for a holiday. i guess turning 18 last summer had something to do with it.

no other presents necessary but i did get gift cards to some great places..since my family and friends know me so well!!

My guys all went Tubing yesterday *sliding down the snow on innertubes* giving me a full 4 hours of uninterrupted cam time, then came home to a nice dinner. G is still pretty jet-lagged and we were all sleeping by 5pm. LMAO.. well except for my youngest who is still up at 303am playing all his new Xbox games, downloading MP3 for his iPod, and enjoying his extra brother being here.

Hope everyone had an equally peaceful and safe holly-day.

dareutwo 2003-12-27 03:41 PM

Not sure how to describe this - I got 1 thing...
GG - you may like this for tailgaiting :)
Made by "Thermos"
It's a really big cooler on the bottom and on top is a grilling unit. Needs 1lb LP tanks, but we have about 10 of those anyway, maybe that's why Court (the wife) bought it.
I should have pics after this whole Xmas break from school is over.

dareutwo 2003-12-27 03:49 PM

Crap - forgot to add this -

finnbear - look me up 1723977 icq - I have hundreds of WWII books (written in English) from the American/English side. Covering both the European and Asian theatres of operation.
Would be willing to exchange books - language doesn't really matter.. in fact anything other than English would be preferred!!!

I got 2 new books from my father for Xmas - B-17's from the 995th squadron based in England (not finished reading yet - LOL) and one about Pearl Harbor.

finnbear 2003-12-28 05:02 AM

Hi dareutwo,

I don't use ICQ, but you can e-mail me at:

lb.productions at koti.soon.fi

I don't have many books that tell about the WW II. I just happened to get one as a Christmas gift. Must have been on sale, lol!
