I'm happy to report that yesterday has been the end of what seems to have been the most successfull period I've had since I started building this damn freesite thingies.

I realize it's not much at all comparing to what most of you guys make, but I just did the numbers and it looks like that, some other dough that I saved and hopefully what this month brings in, should be enough to pay for my university in October |bananna|. And for me, that's pretty damn good and I'm so happy right now ;)

So all in all, I just wanted to say thanks a bunch to everyone who has trusted me, and listed my sites all this time. Special thanks to the people that stood by me during tough times (they know who they are, I won't mention any names). I appreciate everything you've done for me, the understanding and the advices I've gotten from you guys over the time, and if I can ever repay you in one way or another, you know where to find me.

I'd also like to say thanks to everyone here @ GG&J. I have learned 90% of everything I know about building freesites right here, on this board.

Ok, enough of this. I'm going back to work. A guy has to keep submitting, if he's to make rent, huh :)

You may want to put an index.html page in your folders though,
An FPA that is an index page works good.
or put Options -Indexes in htaccess.
Your index of/sites or parent directory show up in your folder pages.

I was noticing something sort of strange today. I dont have enough data to know if this is the norm or a fluke but, the past few days Ive gotten 3 sales, thats 3 times as many as Ive gotten since I started submitting free sites. The wierd thing is that most of the mirrors are now in archives and not on the main pages. Just when I was all depressed about my horrible conversions (even with some great listings) now I get a few signups out of the blue. Sounds bad but it really saves my ass. With all the moving expenses (mostly GAS driving back and forth to storage and Arizona) Im freaken broke. Timing couldnt be better and my results over the last few days + your results are very motivating. Once I get moved in and started at my new job my #1 priority will be getting online and building / submitting free sites. Ive been studying some mainstream advertising and other people free site ads and I cant wait to get back into it again.

Anyways, congrats on your success and I wish us both much more :)

Haha I told you you were gonna get a few in a short time, just when I got desperate about ratio's I had exactly the same. :D

Its seems quite logical to me that ratio's are better from archives, people that surf the main page will usually look for some quick free porn while people that surf the archives are actually looking for something particular so they are way more targetted, if you got what they want it should convert much better.

And I gotta agree on Johnny R, this board is really great and helpfull, even if you dont post that much and just read (like me).
