Are there no doorknobs in England?
 

While being forced to watch Eastenders and Coronation Street, I have noticed that none of the doors have doorknobs. :) All I ever see is a handle with a lock.

So, my most important question on this Holliday is, are there really no doorknobs in England?

Only rich people have doorknobs.

We melted all the doorknobs and railings down to make bullets in WWII.

I have to run down and tell my wife urb. :)

You'll seldom find a doorknop over here either, all handles and locks where I live, not too far from England :)
