How do you get your traffic?
I've searched the forum but I've not found the answer, dont know, maybe I'm just blind. But I am interested in how do you get traffic to your (free)sites? And which traffic is the most productive? Do you submit link lists, do you trade hard links? How do you make loads of traffic? Can you give a few tips to a newbie? :)
To give an answer to my question, I submit free sites at the moment and I am also focusing on hard link trades. Am I on the right way? Any ideas what should I do next? I am planning to build and submit free sites for quite some time now, and getting as much hard links as possible. All info will be appreciated :) Thank you. |
By free(site) do you mean the standard warining page => main page => two gallery pages, and nothing more? Or something like a hub?
Freesites submitted to LL's bring in most of my traffic, though the search engines often favor me more than my top LL referrers. :D It's hard to say which traffic sources are most productive, but the freesites that get the most SE exposure tend sell more than the rest for me. I take a slow and steady strategy when it comes to hardlink trades. People often say this is a long-term business, so I treat is as such. Freesites, and well managed hubs wich point to those freesites, make good long term cash producers. :D |

I've been burned in the past, so I tend to just trade a few links here and there. Taking it low isn't so much about SEO tactics, it's more about making less work for me in the future. I don't want to have to check links every month to make sure everything is going smooth. If it's a quality link, go for it. If it's questionable, be picky. :D Also, I don't look at PR as much as compatabiliity. PR changes over time. |
