Happy Shitty Saturday!

Morning |waves|

It's raining. It's supposed to rain all day. A girl I grew up with decided that today would be a good day to have an outdoor wedding |banghead| My now sober self decided today would be a good day to drive another couple that's going |banghead| |banghead|

So, as soon as I get the Super Bowl Pool locked up for the weekend, I'll be leaving so I can go stand in the rain |violin|

Good morning world |waves|

I hope they have a good "Plan B" for rainy weather, Greenie. With rain every afternoon here during monsoon season, most planners have gotten good at making sure there's plenty of space under tenting for everyone. Might not be the same up there...err, I mean out west there.

Sunny like most mornings here, with the usual showers for this afternoon today. It finally stopped being Thursday around 6pm yesterday, so I have some Friday spillover for today, followed by a nap during the rain if I'm lucky.

Good weekend to all.

:)

time keeps on slipping slipping slipping...... into the future. :)

another work-filled day ahead. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one behind.

Good Morning

Power went our here yesterday at dinner time for 2 hours JUST as the neighbors and another friend was over to have a barbeque. So we managed to barbeque still and eat in candle light. Then the power came back on and another neighbor and wife came over. Before I knew it ALL my beer was gone and the Rye/Whiskey took a dent. LOL

Coffee is on. :)

Morning...

|yawn| Looks like i'm back on my normal sleep pattern.. early to bed and early to rise.. make for a tired doc at 4 oclock. :D

Was reading This about the latest in the bush administration crack down on 'hardcore' porn.

July 4th weekend one of the strip bike police shot a motorist after stopping him for his music being 'too loud'. after ticketing him.. he drove away but the officer (they travel in pairs) was caught in the door so unknown to the motorist..he was dragging the bike cop.. the partner..shot the driver.. dead.. instead of oh say the back tire?? the dragged partner was unharmed. Now the inquest into a justified shooting has come back ..and guess what it was "justified". Of course this has all been caught on tape by a casino camera. Shows the 2 officers after the shooting (dead) the driver, pulling him out of his car, rolling him over and handcuffing him.

Moral.. do not turn up your XM radio too loud while on the strip in las vegas..you could wind up dead.

and with that little morality story.. have a good day. |thumb

Morning! Not a shitty Sat. here yet anyways, the sun is out!! I'm really sick of the rain |angry| Yesterday it rained all day and my house was dark. I don't know about anyone else but I can't get nothing done when it's like that.

Enjoy your Saturday all!

Might just be me, but handcuffing a dead body sounds like beginning of an S&M necrophilia scene.

Holy Shit, I slept 13 hours :)
No rain here...nice and sunny for some reason :) Anyway, after 13 hours of sleep, I am a touch stiff and in a foul mood. I think I better wake up for a little while.

Mornin' y'all,

Been busy this morning 'fine tuning' the rule/submit page on one of my TGP's. Why does a fifteen minute job always seem to take an hour and a half? |confused|

Tough call for TV viewing this evening NASCAR or Ohio State vs Texas? |firstdown

Give me a few, and a second pot of |coffee will be ready...

Good afternoon all,

Nice and sunny here.
Just got back from watching a soccer game of one of the teams from the club I play in since my internet connection went down earlier today and there was nothing else to do *cough*. They lost 1-2 :(

Going to do some reviews and updating the blogs a little and then it's back to socialising with the offline people.

Have a great Saturday all.

Fuck I wish I could go back to bed and get some sleep today so that I won't be tired when I go out tonight but I suck at trying to take naps.

Suppose to take my, mostly straight, friend to a lesbian club tonight. She has been asking me to take her to a woman's club for sometime and we agreed to it tonight. Providing she doesn't chicken out it should make for a most interesting evening. :D

Had to be at my neighbor's place before 8 am to wait for the cable guy since Comcast said he would not be able to call me before he went there but he did call me to say he was coming but I was already there waiting for him since Comcast said I had to be. Anyway my neighbor has internet again although it is running slow but hopefully it will improve by the time he gets back to town. I've noticed that it often does this once service is restored. Kind of aggravating that the problem was up on the roof with a splice that came apart from the last Comcast tech. I'm sure that when he finally gets back into town he'll be able to surf for porn.

On the plus side I was able to Google a way to change the light bulb on my Corvette's turn signal without having to take it in and have it put up on a lift to have the underside service hatch unbolted so that is one last to do for today. Turns out that someone figured out that a person can push the duct that cools the front brakes out of the way and reach up through the duct opening on the front bumper to change it. It was very easy to do other then GM giving me the wrong light bulb the first time so it took two trips to the dealer's parts department to get the right light bulb. It wasn't that I wanted to save money and do it myself or anything but I also didn't want to waste half a day getting a turn signal bulb changed like I did last time when the other side burnt out but it does feel good that I only spent $4 instead of $80+ to get the bulb changed.

Not really sure what I'm doing today. I didn't work yesterday so I really should today but I'm out of content. I also need to go grocery shopping and do a load or two of wash so that I have clean clothes for tonight since what I want to wear is dirty.

Wow it feels strange to have started my day so early…

Good morning to all :)
A little overcast here but the sun should break out and turn into a nice day. BBQ at Grandpas, he's 91, retirement home for family appreciation. Wife and I will do that and then a drive along the coast in the convertible.

Toni KatVixen 2006-09-09 12:48 PM

Well, our Saturday is starting out beautifully. It is sunny and hot out. We went to the beach and got to see shuttle take off, jumped in the pool to get the sand off. Now settling down for some football. |bananna|
