Hub Question

Hello all. I am a newb here. I have read quite a bit but not actively posted. This is THE PLACE for free sites! I am about ready to start submitting free sites. What I am wondering is would I be better off submitting off a single general hub or niche specific hubs that I have built/am building... |bow|

Spread it around a bit on all Your domains, that way You don't lose all your traffic should a server go down somewhere (unless you have all your domains on the same server)

IMO, that's up to you. The general hub would have more traffic, but the niche specific would be more targetted. Factor in the time of updating multiple hubs versus just one.

Honestly, I've seen it done both ways. If it were me and I'd decide what kind of advertisers I'd like to use as my main income source and build a gameplan from that. Based on that theory, things to think about are how many niches does my main advertiser have. Do I want to market ALL of those niches. Do I want to stick to a couple key niches. Instead of 1 or 2 advertisers do I want to market only a couple of niches from multiple sponsors and build a couple of hubs that tie into those niches. Etc...

Good luck with whatever you decide |thumb

Wow thanks for the quick responses. I do presently have them all on the same server...but that is a good point about spreading it around. I was thinking more of having multiple sponsors for a few niches. My concern with the niche hubs was that being a newb I was thinking that the LL owner might recognize me more if I used a single general hub as opposed to submitting one day on niche 1, next day niche 2, etc...

Most reviewers will recognize you based on your Nic and email addy (always use the same info no matter what domain you're submitting from). Also, you're doing yourself a big favor by being known on these forums. A lot of link list owners follow these boards |thumb

To answer your first question about hubs...if it were me and I had to do it all over again, I'd be inclined to build niche specific hubs. As Preacher mentioned, this course is definitely more time consuming. But, I think the long term benefits would make it worthwhile.

Or, perhaps a compromise would be best...

Build one niche specific hub, then submit free sites off that hub for two weeks. Then, build another niche specific hub and submit free sites from it for two weeks. Continue this process until you've got all the niches you're interested in pursuing, then rotate back through your already built hubs :)
