please review my free site, LL+Roboform

Hi everyone,
Please take a look at my free site and tell me what is wrong there.
http://www.lilyen.com/fs/1/main.html
I would like to know how many submitions /approx./ to Link lists I am suppose to do per day and which are the best, as far as traffic is concern. How can I fill out Roboform, if there are only 3 fields?
Thanks allice

Hi there,

You should probably have posted this URL: http://www.lilyen.com/fs/1/

Your recip to herculinks.com is broken and I don't know if Herculinks lists freesites anymore.
You should read the rules of each linklist first before submitting to them. Your pics for instance are too small to get your site listed at Link-o-rama.com
Other than that your freesite looks ok to me.

To how many LL's you submit is completely up to you. You can start by submitting to 80 LL's and then cut that number down to the top 30 or so traffic senders and only send to them.
What LL's send you the most (productive) traffic you have to find out for yourself too. Ofcourse there are the obvious ones but you already have those on your recip page.

Roboform, never used it myself...

I'm sorry that this may come across as cruel, because that's not my intention. But you need to start over and before you do, take a look at maybe 50 of the top galleries listed around the major free sites (watch out that you ignore the sponsored/paid listings they usually have at the very top) and study them carefully.

5+ years ago that gallery might have been acceptable, but even then I doubt it would sell anything: your text color doesn't contrast enough with the background and the link at the bottom of each gallery page isn't prominent and the HTML effects are way too crude.

Especially now the links lists are making it so hard to get a sale, you have to smack the surfer in the face with something which makes him sit up and take notice. Your text and pics have maybe 2 minutes tops to convince him your sponsor has something he cannot miss. And when you do have him fired up, he has to see where to click to reach your sponsor: no hunting around, the link must be right there under his eyes.

Even if it did work from what I recall is he pulls in feeds and sites that he has no control over. So unless you want your site listed next to some scat sites or illeagal type sites I won't even mention, I wouldn't submit to him. Some LL's might decline you just for having his recip on your page, being that he pulled his hardlinks pretty much without letting anyone know.

Speaking of recips, using standard recips that feels like way to many on a page to me. Drop 4 from that page and then create mirrored folders, like /sexy-allice/ and then /alice-swallows/ or even fs/1/ and then fs/2/ . Then you can submit to more LL's then just the 12 you will have listed.

BTW, this is a great place to get a list of Linklists that don't have issues like the ones mentioned above: http://www.greenguysboard.com/resour...fic/index.html

I couldn't agree more. Darken up that text and make your links stand out. Not only will it keep you from getting sales, it will keep you from getting listed.

Ok guys,
Thanks a lot for the advices. I am gonna do it over like you adviced me.
BTW, I took me hours to make that free site and submited to the LL.
Thats way I would like to know how to speed up submission. How do you fill out subm. form?
I have read in tutorial that roboform is the best!?
Should I start to learn autosubmitter, or just submit manually?
I know some of my questions sound silly to you, but I have to start somehow.
Thanks again.

RoboForm is just an advanced form filler and a great tool in experienced hands. Stay away from autosubmitters. Until you really know what you're doing I'd suggest notepad and copy & paste.

Xallow 2006-09-20 05:05 PM

Notepad and copy/paste works for me, takes me about 45 mins to submit to 72 LL's

allice 2006-09-21 08:10 AM

Ok, no autosubmitter, notepad-copy&paste.
Guys you are great! Thanks for the help.

Hey Allice! Welcome to the board |waves|

I think I see what your trying to do and though I agree with pretty much all above comments. People are smart here and you can find a lot by reading OLD theads but maybe you should have some more information.

Like I'm thinking that you should know that the success of your efforts will be tied to the number of different freesites you can submit not just the quality of one. Don't do over, improve anew. You can always go back and improve old pages (like making text contrast with the background). So if your just starting out promoting your own site and trying to learn web design too, maybe creating 10 freesites (40-60 pages) is going to be a lot. Maybe you can get a friend to help you.

Submitting can take the good part of a day too and you'll go crazy with Notepad subbing to 80 lists. A very good intermediate form filler that is extremely easy to use is here:

http://www.wavget.com/typeitin.html

You might also do very well with approachs like a blog and trading those links around to develop your member audience interaction.

Type it in is great!
If I want to quote someone/in this forum/, how can I do that?
Thanks again

Hi allice!

Just to let you know, "few submissions per day" is not really considered
"slow" with link lists nowdays. In fact, most big ones don't accept more than one a day.
