Changing host - Temporary closure on We-R-Sex and Quantum Porn
 

I'm moving my entire empire to a new host and submits are closed temporarily on We-R-Sex and Quantum Porn. I expect to re-open in 3-4 days. To all the people who submit to me, have patience and I'll be up and running again in no time flat. Thanks for your great sites! |thumb

Good luck on the change and try not to stress out to badly :) I know whenever I have had to make a hots change its usually a good week or so of mentally flipping about feeling like a panic attack 24/7.

BTW I keep seeing your LL's moving higher and higher in my refferers.

Thanks all! Considering that my new home is Colo-Cation I really don't have any worries, but it's always a bitch getting to know a new admin panel and such (not that I've done it that many times).

Again I'll share my move over to colo-cation with an active linklist. I gave cd34 my passwords for my old host. Then I went to sleep. Then the next day he had the DB's synched so what changed in one changed in the other.

I transferred the DNS info and I had absolutely no downtime.

So far things are looking great. I've been walking a little bit on eggshells today due to a rather nasty experience with another host, but Brian from Colo handheld me on ICQ from the migration started until it was done. I've never experienced that from a host before.

Now I just have to wait for the DNS to update, so pretty soon I'm following Preacher's example and going to sleep. :D
