It's hard to believe this attitude exists in a man that's supposed to uphold the law and protect the country.

I understand that "The Constitution makes the president commander in chief" but who made bush the president in 2000? I believe it was judges.

You ever wonder how different this country would be if Gore had his recall and won Florida?

Imagine how the entire world would look. 9/11 would have happened any way. The reps were all over Clinton when he fired a missile at OBL so they were going to tie up any democratic administration as much as possible.

However, we probably would have gone in to Afgahnistan to win. We would not have invaded a country that was the enemy of our enemy. Al Queda would be weaker, we wouldn't be living in fear, we wouldn't have electronic voting machines that don't have paper trails and we wouldn't be torturing people.

We would be paying higher taxes, not have such huge debt and goods at Walmart would cost an extra 27%

But, if what Clinton says is true and what Rice says is a lie, which we have to assume is true, Gore would have not only have paid more attention to real intelligence but he would have already known about it.

And after he received a report saying "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States", wouldn't that be the only information he would need to do what he had to do without much question?

I don't know...I guess it's Monday Morning Quarterbacking but sometimes I just think, what if?

Nope. No President could stop it on his own. He would need huge amounts of money and the support of congress. The Repubs in office at the time bashed Clinton for going after OBL and they would have road blocked everything that Gore tried to do.

It would require support from PNAC and 9/11 was the best thing that happened PNAC. They would not allow it blocked. Can you think of anything that could have helped PNAC's cause more then 9/11?

what do you expect from the man who let the Bush family off during the 1980's saving and loan frauds..where they stole billions of dollars from hard working people.
