Got up early for no reason. So, the newsletter is out, other things are done and here I am :) At least until noon :)

Morning all,

I'll be spending most of this Sunday on the couch watching The 4400 Season 2.
Yesterday during the weekly Saturday soccergame I hurt my foot, spent the entire night with a Cold&Hot bandage wrapped around the foot. Lot's of fun.

MY BODY ACHES EVERYWHERE! LOL

Went to a friend's yesterday morning at 7am and spent 11 hours taking the shingles off his roof and putting new ones on. Goddam I am sore. All day of bending over to rip up the old shingles, kneeling and leaning over nailing. Who would want to do shit like that eveyday.

I'm so sore I couldn't sit here for a blowjob, it hurts too much. (not that I'd ever get one anyway, LOL).

Didn't get much sleep and was up early... weather is changing too fast for my taste I guess. But there is always work to do and my sis is over to enjoy the last great days of sunny fall so I'll be busy.

I'll be at the hospital all day again with Mark. He had some complications with an "infection" after his knee surgery. |cry|

Seems to me it was avoidable. They are telling me it was one of "those things". |banghead| He was supposed to come home the same day. Instead he has been in for four days so far, and it looks like he won't be coming home until the end of this upcoming week.

Giants are off today ..... I HATE bye weeks .....

have to figure out why my old laptop won't automatically switch from battery to plug in power today since i'm running my ppt and it's longer than the batter life.

other than that i'll 'bearly' be around as it's another good day at the swap.

On my second day of things not going as planned so plenty of empathy for everyone else here who isn't having the best weekend. I may just make this an offical day of rest and start fresh tomorrow.

Is it time to go to church?

Yesterday I got dressed to go to the gym and then phone calls, deliveries, friends stopping by, and other distractions kept me from actually making it to the gym but it did turn into a productive day as far as work and errands.

I'm a tiny bit hung over this morning. Don't normally drink but yesterday went to brunch with a friend and had a few martinis, then kept my neighbor company at a late dinner and since I was hungry didn't eat but had a few more martinis. Then the friend from brunch, my neighbor, and I all went to a strip club where I had several more martinis. By the time I actually made it home I noticed that for some odd reason I was a bit intoxicated. At least I got my daily required portions of olives.

Just a day of doing the gym, working, and trying to get into trouble planned.

Got a fair nights sleep for a change. Just finished daily reviews and updates. Sales Thur & Fri sucked, but yesterday rocked. I can't make sense of it all, so I just add it all up at the end of the month.

Speaking of end of the month, I need to tally my July-Aug-Sept stats and see if there are any trends that need further investsigation.

Football and NASCAR this afternoon, so I have to finish up my chores this AM.

Nearly on the 2nd pot of coffee and it's not even close to noon.
Not much planned for the day. I can only watch about 30 mins of football before I get bored, so maybe some yard work this afternoon.

Ramster - did you use a shingle removing shovel? They do have those you know. No bending to remove them, just to lay them down.

Happy Breastfeeding Week! Yesterday there were 1600 boobies on display downtown and not one smut monger with a camera to be found.
I guess everyone with cameras were in Laval waiting for rescuers to figure out how to rescue those people crushed by another falling overpass. Said victims were STILL buried, possibly alive 15 hours later.

It's rainy and dreary out, the ideal weather to curl up in bed with kitty. Too bad he's spotted the clean laundry basket and prefers it's company today :-/

On a much brighter note, I have 2nd row tix for Tony Bennett this evening, which will hopefully earn me a nice dinner downtown |bananna|

Yes we had a few of those. But you still need to lean over a bit for leverage and to keep going. Then the hammering you do more leaning over. I'm still sore. :(

Late start to the day but here it is. Today is 5 yrs for me in adult and I still suck at it. Someday I will be able to put that Newbie card away.

Wife and I are going on a drive along the coast with the top down, not hers or I will crash, but the cars. Probably up to Malibu so it should be nice.

Morning all. woke up with a cold, probably from all the strange germs I've been exposed to since Thursday, hanging out at the fall festival, lol.

I got two great necklaces yesterday. One is a reversible squash blossom necklace, with Kingman turquoise on one side, then various other stones on the other. Looks really cool. The other a big chunky amathyst necklace. I wore the amathyst out to dinner yesterday, and I'm not used to people staring at my neck, it was pretty weird. :D

The fair runs down today, not sure if we are going to go up one last time or not. I think I've had my fill of wall to wall crowds to last me until Internext. I'm not used to being around so many people for so long of time.

Happy Sunday everyone.... its a beautifull day here up North, so me and BlueBrit are going to take a drive further North to enjoy the scenery .. leaves are the most gorgeous reds, yellows and oranges around here.. time for some pics!

when that happens, the landscaping crews have some fertilizer that they can put on it to make those leaves green again. If the leaves turn brown, then I would check the sprinkler pump and make sure the timer is working. :)

Bellsouth sent new phone books, along with a CD. I thought, let me poke around the cd and much to my surprise, there is an install script on it for Unix. It does require KornShell, but, hey, they are acknowledging that not everyone uses PCs or Macs...

Other than that, a fun day of debugging code written when 32bit CPUs were the norm.
