Super Bowl Contest Update: 1 Eliminated In Week 4, Week 5 Picks Due By Noon Saturday

The Super Bowl Contest Page has been updated |thumb

All 7 moved on in the party/trip contest & 6 moved on in the $250 prize portion (|pokefun| Preacher)

As always, picks are due to me by Noon EDT on Saturday.

I'll post my Lock Of The Week on Thursday - just remember, when you're right 52% of the time, you're wrong 48% of the time :D

After watching "Football Night in America" and exclaiming my disappointment, my six year old turns to me and says, "Why did you make such a bad pick? I knew they wouldn't win." |nahnah|

To which I replied, "shut it, and never mention this again." :D

You know, I'd feel worse if Greenbay hadn't lost so terribly last night. |pokefun| |greenguy|

Gotta admit...I had high hopes for Farve and the Packers...they actually looked ok in the first half...sort of...

But, ouch once the second half got under way :(

Ramster 2006-10-03 02:09 PM

I think I know who I'm taking already. :)

Poor Greenbay...it was too close for comfort for a while theer.

Good Luck Everyone |shake|

Chop Smith 2006-10-08 04:22 PM

The ramblings of Tennessee gave major stress to the two that picked Indy. |shocking|

Linkster's faith in the aints pays off. |buddy|

Trev's Browns suck and two advance by picking Carolina. |jester|

Thanks New England, Chop and two of his favorite ladies advance. |bananna|

If Kansas City and Jacksonville win, all will prevail. |cheerlead

Who picked Dallas? |pokefun| |greenguy|

Oops...Sorry... I have been so busy with my day job and 'brick and mortar' business that I forgot all about the pool. :(

Good luck to everyone left |thumb

Ramster 2006-10-08 07:50 PM

Goddam that was a close game. Indy was favored by 18.5 points and they barely won? Bizarre. Good though as I had Indy in every pool I'm in I think.

On a good note I got a few chances at cash in some pools I'm in.

Trev 2006-10-08 09:14 PM

In the early games there was a lot "what the hell's going on?" looks at the scores, but most of them ended up coming out the expected way.

Chop.... 14-4... book it... |crazy|

Yea, there were definitely some surprises. That Indy game was downright shocking |loony|

Oh, so you are a comedian too. haha It took a handful of xanax, half a bottle of jack and a six pack to get over that. Then I watched the Dallas game. WTF |banghead|

I should have just picked the Bears and went fishing. |jester|
