Oh damn, think I got bit by zillas 7 day rule
Well, it's been a few days plus since I subbed a gallery, taking some time off while x-mas sales are down. So anyway, when i go to sub to zilla elite tonight, my ID doesn't work.
It might have been 7 days plus a few minutes since my last submission there, and nelvac has it set on autodelete. So I sent my dutiful letter, we'll see wether I can get it back. Oh well, if I'm up shit crick, I can always try buying spots. |
Yeah I got bit by that rule a long time ago. :(

Bill, that happened to me too a while back and I never heard from Nelvac. And from what I read trying to get a response on buying spots is a long shot.

I lost mine a few months ago and tried to mail him a couple of times with no luck. Sucks it was very good traffic :(
Send a email about buying spots yesterday should I hold my breath? |

Well, predictably enough I received no reply from my first letter, which is not unexpected.
Ordinarily at this point I would write a second letter, expecting no reply. Then I would reapply for a new elite account. (I signed up for an elite account the day after zilla started the program, and have lost and regained the account at least twice before, maybe three times, my memory is a bit unclear.) I have every reason to believe I would be given a new account, but I'm not going to apply. I'm planning on getting out of the gallery posting business. All the fun has gone out of it for me, and while it is still profitable there are other areas of my business that make more profit, so I expect to be happier and make more money by shifting my valuable work time and resources to other processes. I feel kinda dumb for buying that easypics pass, but that will be used up in a year, which is a reasonable length of time to close down my gallery posting process. For now I'm conducting that part of my business with this philosophy- if the TGP acts adversarial and arrogant, they get deleted from my submit list. I think of it as my "burning bridges" policy. ;-} Anybody remember when gallery posting was cool and fun and friendly, as well as profitable? |
