I woke up early today to get my laptop ready for the move today.

Hooked up my receiver yesterday after they did their repairs. Guess what??? The front channels didn't work. And, they still don't. I would have never thought that 4 speakers at one time would blow so bad that they made no sound at all. But, these did. My biggest surprise was when I called the speaker manufacturer and they said I had to pay to have them repaired. I tell the guy, how is it that 4 separate speakers all blow at the same time. The guy actually said to me, "A Yankee pitcher flew a plane into a building yesterday, sometimes shit happens". I replied with, "But 4 Yankee pitchers didn't fly into a building at the same time". Anyway, I do think when they look at these speakers they will see there was a problem with building them.

Anyway, get your football picks in if you are supposed to. And, there will no newsletter until Greenie gets online. He does the news section and he has a special Tip and Trick he wants to talk about on the board.

Well - I have to say I dont think I have ever set my alarm to get a laptop ready |jester| - I think I could probably get it done during one of those coffee break trips

Hit the strip clubs with my neighbor last night and and I think I'm a little hung over from all the cigarette smoke in the club. Cigarettes are great, even a non smoker like myself can experience all their nastiness without having to light up.

Not sure what I'm doing today other then getting some work done first thing this morning so as to have the rest of the day free.

The world must be ending.. Snow in buffalo on Friday the 13th AND steady rain in Vegas since 830am yesterday morning. I mean it truly hasn't stopped ..not that my poor burned lawn minds.. but people here do not know how to drive in Rain..

Today will be spent on the run before we head out to SFO. need another trip to CompUSA since no charger came with my new Canon. fuckers. |banghead|

have to cruise by Target (i refuse to go to Wallyworld) for some sweats.. and then off to get the nails done.

turned on the heat yesterday, now the house is dry as a bone - we even had a humidifier put on it so hubby will tinker with that today. I'm losing the battle against a stupid cold (AGAIN |angry|) so I'm just trying to get motivated to do anything but sleep today.

Talked to my vet about Bruno showing aggression towards me. Well he came to the conclusion that getting him neutered would help. So poor Bruno gets his balls cut off next week |cry|

I sure hope most people up in the snowbelt have oil or gas heat (or fireplaces and wood stoves). Electric heat would not be a good selling point for a house up there I think.

Anyone need a box of 90 degree weather just let me know.

Funny you should mention that. As part of my presentation to the CE advisory board, there are 2 slides dedicated to the absolute incompentency of the front line people at the big box electronic stores and how they have zero clue to anything. 83% of the repondents to our survey said that they have never had a positive experience with anyone at the store level from the manager on down. 68% said they have had to make at least 2 trips to the store to resolve issues that could have or should have been done on the spot. (like missing parts or wrong product for the application)

Will this change their hiring practices? probably not. Will this increase their training at store level? probably not. Will is satisfy the 3500+ people who responded to the survey? yes..until they have to go back to Bestbuy/compusa/ circuitcity/frys again. Oh and another little factoid from this survey that really skeeves me out. Walmart was listed as the #1 electronic store. Dumb down some more America!!

my jaws and teeth did hurt so much yesterday that I stayed in bed and took a pain killer, like the 7th one this year. Radiation does it to you... anyway today is a tad better so I'm up, the sun is out and the weather is the classic indian summer. Sis was here and had to water the garden... and brought some plants inside, like lemon, orange etc which don't like the real cold.

Woke up today to my little boy covered in puke (milk puke YUCK). Tried to then give him some plain toast and some orange juice, well that ended up in 4 different puke messes on the floor, just glad he did all of those on the kitchen tile floor and not on any of the carpets. The wife called a nurses hotline since the kid's doctor is not in today and they said to try some over the counter stuff, so we're getting ready to head off to the store and pick up those. Both the kids have had colds the last week or so, but one day they will act fine and then have a shitty day and then fine the next, guess whatever my boy has decided to kick into full gear today.
