2003 has been a roller coaster

Visa, AdultCheck, AVS gone - a roller coaster year...or what do you think? |jester|

internet certainly moving at lightspeed. not the wild west anymore ... all the sneaky billing shit was destined to come to an end though ... small text join another site for 34.95 when you join this one free ... that kind of biz cant last forever. in normal business you gotta be a forward thinker ... in internet biz you gotta think into the future at warpspeed and if your sharp, capitalize off the eminent changes.

im sort of glad to see some of the changes, some of them have been a pain in the ass, but others will prove beneficial i think. I may be crazy but i see a future where there will be more than just "warning adult content" ... and surfers will actually have to pay to see the hard stuff again - that would make a lot of people very happy ;)

BEST TO EVERYONE IN 2004!!!!

Jim & I did an article/editorial for Klixxx on the major events of 2003. Seeing as we were limited on the space, we chose these events:

1 - GreenguyAndJim.com (of course)
2 - Credit card Processing (which covers a lot of issues)
3 - Miami Internext Show

We also put on our Swami hats & made a few predictions for 2004:

1 - Free Trials will remain, but you will see a few programs drop them.
2 - AVS as we know it will be dead by the end of the year.
3 - You will soon be paying for some of the traffic that you are currently getting for free.
4 - There will be less & less "Weekend Webmasters"
5 - There will be more money to be made ad main stream merges with the adult community.
6 - GreenguyandJim, while already considered the number one webmaster resource site by many, will be considered number one by all.
7 - Most online radio shows will fall by the wayside as better shows take over :)

Someone refer to this thread in 366 days please :)

I would have to a gree on the roller coaster analogy, but most of the "highs" in my year outweighed the lows.

GG I would agree with most of the Swami's predictions.. |santa|

I'd say you have a much better chance of finding boobs on your head than hair, MrMaryLou. Will that be ok??? :D

I partially agree with you here.
AVS "as we know it" will be 90% or more gone, but I think there will be AVS concepts very similar that will come out.

Changes in the billing methods will still keep AVS alive. That's my prediction.

"MML will grow Balls out of the top of his head in early 2004"
