Adding recips after approval

Have some older free sites that have insufficient number of recips 12 or less, would It be a crime to add some more (up to 16 total).

thx In advance for help

If the sites are old, I'd just leave them alone and move on to building new ones with more recip links. You never know what link list might not like the ll recip you add to your site after the fact and that could lead to trouble for you (blacklisting or site removed).

I agree. |thumb

Some places don't mind a little extra flow of fresh traffic, but you have to be careful any time you make changes.

When a site has been accepted, it was reviewed as is. If it doesn't pass inpsection the first time it just doesn't get listed. End of freesite lifespan.

If you change something on a previously reviewed and listed site, and on a future review it doesn't pass inspection... the results could be pretty bad. End of lifespan for all your freesites for all time. |shocking|

Some bots check for differences in file size and/or dates, with the possible consequences already noted above.
I would just make new ones.

Ok, thx, will make new sites and forget the old ones

Something that just hit me:

Rather than add 6 recips to an old 12 recip site, it'd be a lot easier to grab yet 6 more and make a mirror with 12 completely new recips. Re-write the flavor text, and now you've got an independent site with very little effort. |thumb

LOL! |jester|

How am I supposed to respond to that? If I deny, then my peers in business might frown on me... but if I accept then The Great Earth Goddess might revoke my hippie membership!

I'll just have to not respond at all. |peace|

I have done this a bunch of times myself. If your tied up with another project and you got a bunch of older sites you can mirror and submit to a new group of people, or a collection of people that you are submitting now that you weren't when those were built, in well under an hour. :)
