I want to know your experience with programs like cecash free email signups. My personal theory is that surfers are less likely to signup to your other sponsors if they see that they can get pics and vids for free. If you have used it on your sites and then removed it, have you seen an improvement in sales? I see less people use these programs nowadays and this might be a reason for it? what do you think?

Ya, those programs use to be big, seemed every one was doing them. I personally never had much luck with them. I think nowdays, every one gets so much spam as it is, might be reluctant to give up there e-mail addy. Just my two cents.

These programs rely on the ability to convert these free e-mail subscriptions to signups either within the same company or sending that traffic to another company that targets the surfer's identified interests.

It is a good way to pick up people who aren't ready to join a site at the moment - perhaps they just don't see any offers on your site that caught their interest.

While some people are naturally reluctant to share their e-mail info with anyone, CE's email programs are white-listed with all the major ISPs, giving them an edge over all the competition. Being there during this process - let me tell you that getting white-listed by the big ISPs is not an easy task.

I'd suggest trying E-mail programs where ever you feel your conventional (pay site) campaigns are not generating the results you are looking for. E-mail programs also work great on TGPs and other forms of traffic that are traditionally hard to convert.

To be more specific, I suggest adding the E-mail ads to compliment, not replace your main paysite campaigns. It you can't convert someone to a pay site join, the next best thing is converting them to an E-mail join.

I´ve decided to remove my free email signup links on one of my sites.. I´ve had them there since the start and those categories without links to free email joins have performed better overall with more regular signups compared to the others. A reason for this could be that those links were on top of the categories, but ill have them removed anyway. Surfers should learn that they have to pay for porn.

There´s nothing wrong with cecash, I think i did ok with it, but this is probably the best way to go. And when thinking of it a bit further, I´m the one supposed to supply the surfers with pics (until they decide to join a paysite).
