Good Last Friday Morning of October

Sick and not talking so well. I spent most of yesterday on my couch and suspect today will be much the same.

On top of that, a lot of my mail is either being junked or stuck in my trash bin. I must have a filter going bad someplace so I guess it's time to start them over. Even people that I have filters for are going into the trash. So, if you sent me something, I have not deleted anything, I will find it today or tomorrow.

Well, I thought I knew what day it was when I work up...

...but now I'm all confuzzled.

Is there a niche for time travel?? if so I think this thread just hit it. I love that i just gained a week of my life back!! :D

Welcome back to last week :D
Yesterday simply sucked. Got an email 2 weeks ago saying my isp was upgrading their equipment from 3 to 6 am. No biggy. At 5:45 I lose my connection.
7:00am nothing, 8:00am nothing (call tech support) 9:00am nothing (call tech support again) 10:00am nothing
11:00am nothing (call tech support again - they are now on speed dial) It must be on my end they say. I'm saying if I can't ping, it's their end.
Noon nothing - call tech support - they say they'll send someone over.
2:00pm tech support show up (it's my neighbor) I show him exactly what I've been telling tech support all morning. He calls in saying it's one their end... duh!
About 3pm Finally!
Apparently they don't think I can understand networks and all they said was a connection setting needed to be reset.
Dumb bastards!
I like living in teeny tiny towns, but only having 1 option for internet isn't a major drawing factor.

So today, I'm way behind as the volleyball team is in the playoffs and I had to go watch them last night.

2nd pot of coffee is already on

Good Morning In The Recycled Thread. :D

Not really sure what I'm doing today. The boat show is in town which means my neighborhood is a mess of traffic and tourists today and all weekend. I may go to the boat show for something to do but since I don't own a boat or plan on getting one they are kind of boring to me but still it is something to do anyway.

Guess I should go make the espresso so as to be awake in boring paradise.

After 15 days, I have emerged from the swamp, nearly unscathed, and calamine lotion is helping with much of it. Hopefully this nagging little cough is not a souvenir. It was pointed out to me that I spend most of the year avoiding germs in my little cocoon here, and then immerse myself in one of the more toxic places on the planet. UGH, I need a bleach bath.

Evidently it's high autumn. I returned home to leafless trees and dreary grey skies. I do look forward to better satellite reception due to the leaf laden trees no longer being an issue.

OK, coffee is finally ready. Off to tackle the 19,000 emails that took 4 hours to download last night.

morning all:) well 4.17 midday here, finally the last day of my kids holiday, monday they go back to school and this weekedn its hubbies turn to keep the kids busy, again some moron parcked his car on my driveway ( was a new guy) but he have met me now and believe me he will never parck his car on my driveway anymore, still i am fucked up by the facted that people just parck on other peoples property, i realy can flip when that happens. So now i am a bit tired because i got angry some hour ago and i decide i am gonna spent the eve with watching some movies with my evil kids and hubby. Have a great day all:)

Good morning all. Woke up to see it is actually below freezing outside here. Brrrr. Pretty early in the season for that. Glad we are getting the greenhouse built, because that probably just finished off my huge cherry tomato plant, and the watermelons. They have been soooo good to us.

Going to be out in the garage and yard most of the day constructing the greenhouse. Hope we can finish getting the frame up today. (the part that was missing finally arrived priority mail yesterday, yess!) I can't wait to be waist deep in tiny little plants.

Slept late again this morning and awaken to see that I've travelled back in time a week. I hate temporal mechanics before my morning caffeine fix. ;)

Big thunderstorm last night, so had to wait until this morning to put all the trash out. Yet another thing I had to do before coffee.

Gotta take the van in for a lube and oil change, plus a Texas state inspection. Will probably grab lunch someplace while I'm out.

Doing geek stuff today...got tired of waiting for tech support (I feel your pain Dare |banghead|), so did some googling and got the new array live on my own. Installing software now...gonna be great to have a nice clean install again |thumb

Jim, when I'm sick, I like a few drops of molasses mixed with piping hot camomile tea infused with juice from a couple lemons. :)

wow that was my old granny's recipe..except it was Molasses/lemon juice and hotwater.. if you didn't sweat it out.. you'd uh poop it out. :D
