Help, I can't figure this out.

I'm getting a bunch of traffic from a free site builder which probably isn't meant for my blog. All of them are from the same domain: http://www.freepornoplace.com the sites in question and http://www.freepornoplace.com/fs/stu...ion/index.html is one of the free sites.

It's not that I don't appreciate the free traffic but....someone has got to be losing out here.

I know, I don't either but according to my stats, 3 freesites from that domain sent me about 1400 hits.

If there isn't any links point to you from where it says the traffic is coming from, it may be a program being used to manipulate your log files.

There is a program called stealth advertiser that lets you put stuff in other peoples log files including howmany hits, ref urls, etc...

I could be way off, but that's first thing that comes to mind.

Could be...I really am stumped but they are burning up enough bandwidth to be real. I'm also seeing traffic from LOR, Hoe's and Smut Gremlins but not nearly as much as from the domain I posted.

To make things even more confusing...today I found this http://www.exwifeclub.com/laura/laura.htm, an obvious duplicate of my blog.

Guess I'll have to figure out how to block that one....suggestions?

About the blog copier, would this work? (htaccess code)

Code:

SetEnvIfNoCase Referer ".*(domainname).*" BadReferrer
order deny,allow
deny from env=BadReferrer

I'm guessing, if they're using an include... but if they're pulling pages manually, maybe block by IP? |huh

Other then that, DangerDave made a decent list of things to do to a copying cheat:

I'd suggest PMing the rotten, filthy, thieving cunt who owns exwifeclub.com

I appears to be a dumb fuck named dreadbandit.

A little further investigation it appears that we all share the same host and same IP. I've contacted the host to look into it but will also PM dreadbandit.

Thanks, so far, for the help.
