help with forced hits, redirections, etc.
I have to be just plain stupid. I started my site in January of this year intent on keeping it completely clean and I've done so, keeping with "what you see is what you get." I have a number of very good trade partners and some "redirect monsters." These monsters don't like that I'm not forcing hits their way. It just seems to be junk traffic to me.
Am I missing something? There must be money being made just in traffic and not product. Why would I want to force hits and to deceive whatever loyal following I might have? Bonnie www.ameslegs.com/main/ |
I believe that it's really more a matter of what percentage of hits are forced to trades, and whether or not those sites are a good content match for your own. The productivity numbers in your own trade script stats will answer that for you pretty easily. Keep the trades that are producing a reasonable number clicks to your galleries, drop those that aren't.
For every trade that I set up, only about 1 in 4 is a keeper after reviewing the first month's stats. |
