Does anyone have any good resources to get the following information?

• which sponsors offer RSS feeds for affiliates?
  
• which sponsors offer hosted blogs for affiliates

how to's on;

• setting up and updating RSS feeds
  
• software for creating RSS feeds

sorry if this seems very short and sweet. but I have a tendency to make really long posts and I didnt want to make anyone read through 15 paragraphs of my ramblings to get to the point :) any help would be appreciated.

Sponsorhostedfeeds is probably the best resource for information on hosted feeds but you could tryPorn Blog Resource. I haven't actually spent a lot of time on the site so I really can't compare it.

As far as information, what your asking is a bit vague. Are you looking to add feeds to a blog and get feeds from a blog or just looking to do something else.

As far as using a feed with a blog, that's pretty specific to the script as well as getting the feed from the blog.

If your just looking for some general tools, I like Feed For All

Blog Organizer has an affiliate module if your looking to make sponsor feeds and hosted blogs.

Hi Walrus, thanks for replying. I will try and be as specific as possible but this is a bit difficult for me since seriously... the blog thing is completely new to me.

we are looking to put together some additional tools that our affiliates will like and more importantly that they will use. So it is kind of a two pronged approach;

we want to offer hosted blogs for our affiliates (what is that exactly? I am learning. Right now the basic concept I have in my mind is that it is, in concept, kind of like a 'live' gallery. Meaning we update it every day with new image and text rich content and affiliates can link to it using a link with their aff id in it.. we can make as many of these as possible to get the widest distribution of our content)

second prong is the RSS feed. As I understand it an RSS feed is actually something that can be added to a blog. So the affiliate can link to our feed from his blog and display our content on his site containing his affiliate ID

now digging as deep as possible into my intellectual stores has produced about the most specific question relating to both of those prongs that I can imagine... here it is LOL;

how do i do that?

seriously, that is the stage I am at right now in trying to provide even better tools for our affiliates. I have contacted kaktusan through the board and I am just waiting on his reply and I will get into the software he has... but right now I am trying really hard to be able to present this to my boss in a way that makes sense to both of us so I need to learn as much as possible :)

believe it or not i clicked on every single link in Walrus's sig file before I ever started the thread and none of those or the one you posted is being displayed for me. I get a page cannot be displayed error and I have no idea why. I will keep trying them and thanks to both of you for the links. Any help is appreciated :)

Simple....Blog Organizer with the affiliate module. It will help you create the blogs (with affiliate ID's) and will produce those into RSS feeds that you affiliates can then add to their blogs.

I think it's a great all in one solution by Kaktusan.

I've been having a bit of problems with that host as of late and have moved most of the information onto a different site. http://www.adultbloggingtools.com
