Google Dance
 

Hi All,

Not sure what you're seeing, but it looks like Google did some sort of dance. Over the last 2 days we've seen lots of changes. I understand that the 'net was messed up all day Sunday...did anyone else see this? If so, google could've just lost some data centers in the mess, and just have some bad stuff up temporarily. If not, then I'm guessing that Google is dancing away right now. I'm fairly convinced that these results won't stay.

Right now, if you search for "blowjobs" and click on the 1st result, it comes up with "Not Found"... not good for google or anyone else for that matter.

I think you're right.... I just did a search on 'adult sex' - which I used to be #1 on, and the 3rd listing is 'not found'

Yep, Pusher...google has alot of those type pages showing up, from what I see. I'm sure that they'll filter those out over the next few days. Sorry to hear that Fonz, are you seeing more google traffic to your sites with this dance?

I am with Fonz... Google was being really nasty with their last update so I sure hope they shape up now :)

few months ago I was gettin something like 4-5k Google hits/daily to mydailyfreeporn.com only... now I see less than 2k total this month for MDFP

And there goes the category PR again, all back to 0. |club|

Hopefully this is just a restore or something and things will rebuild quickly.

Yep, I've never seen Google deliver such poor results and I've been doing this since before Google became popular. I'm thinking that they're just having problems and will begin delivering better results over the next few days.

Just did a few searches on google and see lots of varying results...I haven't seen a full-fledged dance like this in ages. I'm seeing things (both mine and other folks sites) that've been at the top for years coming back a bit. Still lots of bs education sites and Page Not Found sites, but in some data centers the "real" sites that actually deliver are coming back.

I have never seen such SHIT coming from a popular search engine like Google. Ever since they went public they have been going down the toilet. I think it's time for a NEW search engine - it shouldn't be too hard to get one that is better than Google - maybe a random site generator |angry|

It does seem to be the worst it's ever been, for the last month or so. "Seems" the spammers have really made it for one thing, though the page not found results are strange. Can't see it happening to much longer, as it's their rep on the line.

It use to be after a big update, you might see crap for a week, maybe two, but lately it's taking longer to go back to relevant. Has any one noticed if the same crap is sticking or is it changing out for other crap?

It seems to be much of the same crap, sometimes replace with some new crap. And some of the best sites have disappeared again. For example, penisbot is now gone from the SERPS for 'porn'. Just take a look at the top ten and you'll see..one of the sites is a Washington Post article from 2005!

Does seem to the worst of all times, and lasting much longer than other times. I wonder if mainstream is seeing the same, I would guess they are.

I've seen Google have a bad dance like this in the past and then re-dance within about 2 weeks...hopefully this will be the case this time. Also, I haven't heard anything about mainstream results being messed up, has anyone else?
