Good Wednesday Morning

Morning
Damn, I wish it would stop raining for one day. I have one simple string of lights I have to put up for Christmas but I have to do it from our front porch roof.

It seems like it is going to be a busy work day today so I will be here all day.

Simon 2006-11-15 07:40 AM

Good morning world |waves|

It's been a good two and a half hours so far, and if the day continues like this it'll be a good one. Glad not to be in Japan this morning (or Dutch Harbor in Alaska for that matter), since I'm not in the mood for a tsunami to come visiting. Good luck to any webmasters we have from those places.

And a good humpity hump day to all.

spookyx 2006-11-15 07:40 AM

Good Morning everyone! Raining here too

Fonz 2006-11-15 07:40 AM

Morning all,

From all the plans I made for yesterday almost none got done. I hate it when that happens.
Anyway, I got another movie evening planned tonight. We're going to see "The Grudge", the second movie is almost in theathers here so it's about time I see the first one.

Ah well, have a nice day all :)

CNN just reported that an 16 inch (not foot) wave just hit Japan |crazy|

Good Wednesday Peoples |waves|

My Sabres (15-1-1) play Ramster's Senators (6-10-1) tonight - kinda hard to see why we beat them 4-1 in the playoffs last year :D

Other than that, I'll be here doing work & reviewing sites & all that other wonderful crap |thumb

terry 2006-11-15 09:02 AM

Good Morning Everyone!

Im with you on that one Jim. I need to put up all my lights and its either too cold or raining. Supposed to be nice for the rest of the week here so I will keep a close eye on the weather and run out when I think its the best time.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning.

How do you measure a 16" wave? How do they konw some guy didn't just fart off shore? 16" doesn't seem like much to me....unless we're talking about...well you know. LOL

And why do I feel like I am surrounded by the Russian Red Army when I visit the board? :D

Cleo 2006-11-15 09:28 AM

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood. ;)

Got a followup doctor's appointment this afternoon and that is about all that I've planned so far but I'm sure I'll find some other things to do like hitting the mall out west by him afterwards and I guess I should get some work done sometime today too.

My lower back itches…

sue-fl 2006-11-15 09:29 AM

Morning...

I woke up with really bad bed head today. I blame it on the weather ...been in the 40's over night and the 60's-70's in the day. This weekend we are predicted to go to 90. WHERE is the farking rain???

Buzz at Global Gaming is that so many people are breaking the law and playing anyway that it's only a matter of time before that law is repealed. I guess it's going to be one of those winding it's way through the courts.

Also the tavern owner's association here has brought a law suit against the new law just enacted preventing smoking in Nevada where food is being sold or served (basically all bars and supermarket gaming areas). They are claiming a conspiracy of the casino owers lining up with the non smokers to drive them out of business. |jester|

Ok off to PE, biology lab and various other running before going to get paid to play video poker. woot LIFE is Good!! |thumb

If you're standing on the beach & the water gets your calf's wet, but not your knees, it's a 16" wave.

Lake Erie currently has 8" waves....could a Tsunami wipe out MrMaryLou? We'll tell you about it after sports!

Damn no wonder my ankles are wet man the life boats :)

30 min. north of the Gulf of Mexico here in Alabma it's storming like Hell. Tornado watches and warnings all over the place. No tsunami's that I'm aware of. I guess I'll have to go catch some blue crabs when the weather clears. Sweetie pie wants some of my world famous crab cakes and homemade remoulade sauce.

RedCherry 2006-11-15 12:34 PM

Morning All |waves|

I remember having to evacuate when living in Hawaii when there was a Tsunami alert. I lived pretty close to the ocean at that time. We went up slope to watch, and it ended up being just about that 16". After having an ex cousin in law (?) get caught in the Tsunami in Hilo where he watched 100's of people die and hearing those stories, I didn't want to take any chances.

My cats are driving me crazy today. My 15# bengal keeps insisting on jumping up and trying to walk on my new laser printer to get to the window, and I have to get him down, then my other smaller cat keeps wanting me to hold and pet her. Needless to say, I haven't gotten much done yet this morning, lol.

mr.sexbankroll 2006-11-15 12:39 PM

Good morning! It's pissing rain here too..

Damn that reminds me I am gonna have to get my ass outside and hang christmas lights here pretty soon. Since we have had kids we have been adding more and more every year. I think last year we had around 8,000 lights, one of those huge Santa fan thingies, and some snowman light things that stick in the ground, plus a big ass lighted wreath. My daughter loves it and my son is getting to the age that he is gonna start getting a kick out of it as well. Its really turning into a whole day of freezing my ass off job, not to mention the nice spike in the electric bill, damn what have I started? haha

qUeenBeE 2006-11-15 08:59 PM

good morning! we're also having some rain showers in our place...
our house is already dressed up with christmas lights and other holiday stuff... my mom took care of the decoration task..
