Going to try to get a few offline things done today. We are supposed to get a large storm over the weekend. Who knows if there will be snow? But, I can always hope :)

I'm leaving for London tomorrow morning. I'll be there until Sunday evening so I got some preparing to do both online and offline.

It's 18°C/65°F today. Other years it's freezing already. What global warming?

I have payroll hell today and as much as i try to prep before hand it's never enough.

Afterwards it's off to the last day of Global Gaming, stopping off at the pre-auction of stuff from the stardust (i'm hoping for a lounge table and a kick ass chair i saw) and then very late lunch with my camho Candi.

oh and it's 45 today. But wait there is no global warming. |banghead|

A bit of a chill in the air here as well. Currently 48° with a 16 mph breeze. The natives will be bundled up like eskimos. :)

I hate cars…
Hydraulics on my clutch went out on the way to the gym and I had to drive to the car place in first gear which luckily is right around the corner from me.

I knew I had a leak and was going to take it in next week but my car seems to have thought today was the day to bring it in.

Guess I could have just thrown some more brake fluid in but was afraid of getting stuck someplace.

Just hope that they can get it fixed today.

After the storm blew in from the gulf yesterday, we wake up with freezing temps here, must have gotten down to 40 last night. Brrrrr! Bay crabs will have to wait for a warmer day to get in my nets.

Talked to my oldest son last night for over an hour. He must have been really bored.. lol (we do talk about 3 or 4 times a week, but for about 5 minutes at a time)

Funny Jim, I am going to be putting up some insulation and plastic today as well. Also a bit of weather stripping around a couple of the exterior doors. It is great cause I left most of the plastic up all year, only freeing the windows I commonly use. So less work for me :) I hope you stay warm through the cold chills this weekend :)

Talked to a few agents last night at the data center that were involved in this. Quite a few guards milling around, a loooot of equipment on the floor with little Evidence tags and evidence tape on a bunch of machines. Except for one guy, I don't think many of the guys were very computer literate -- just strong arms to carry machines.

When i was in line on sunday to place the vegas foot-ball pool picks, there was a guy next to me that placed 24K in bets..he had a list of names with their $ amonts next to them.. and a couple of packs of 100.00 bills. I was giggling to myself thinking about all the bookies i knew in NYC and if they'd actually transitioned into the digital age.

Another day of missing the morning thread until the afternoon. Now it's time to get ready for running some errands and grabbing some lunch before the thunderstorms roll in later. No snow here, but a couple o rainy days ahead, so it's good that the 'to do' list is full.
