Good Morning
My lovely wife and daughter are off to the Big City this weekend. And, they plan on bringing back something so big, they need to take my truck :) They are leaving around noon so, I have to get my truck ready for the drive. After that, it's Bacon Sandwiches for the weekend :)

Besides that, there is quite a bit of behind the scenes work that has to get done today. This place doesn't just run on it's own, you know :)

Oh yeah, only 38 days until Christmas :)

Going to run 2 BB practices today, so I'll be gone nearly all afternoon and evening. (varsity coach has a meeting to go to)

Morning all :)

Thingy with my car turns out to be something rather expensive to fix. I ended up looking at trading it in for a new one but will probably just spend the money on getting my fixed next week which I'm told will take three to four days. The clutch actuator cylinder is leaking and to change it the transmission needs to be pulled so going to have a new clutch put in while they have it apart. They pretty much have to dissemble the whole bottom of my car to do it. I was already planning on getting a new Vette next year so it is a tough call whether to get it fixed or trade it in but I really want to wait until the 2008 model is out so I guess I'll just get mine fixed.

Other than car problems not much going on. Going to the gym and then will probably spend most of the rest of the day working and really have not a clue what I'm doing tonight.

then it's back to work! I feel like spending, so I'm tossing around a domain I think I'll buy this weekend. They do add up, don't they :)

I had a lovely evening with The Bitch last night & since we got home really late, we were awake for the call from the security company at 2 AM - the guy asks if everything is ok & I say yes, then he asks for the "all safe" password & I give it to him. He then starts to sorta yell at me about the alarm being going off & not turning it off & this & that & I remind him that the alarm is not in the main house, but it's a separate building. His tone changes & asks if I want him to call the police. I tell him to hang on, because it is windy & with all the shit on the walls, something might have set off the motion detector in the Pool House. So I grab a flash light & my dog & head down to the Pool House in the rain & I'm scared shitless! There's no lights on down there except the light outside - I flash the light thru the window, unlock the door & I tell the dog to "GO GET'EM!" Well, the alarm horn is blaring & he's not comfortable with loud noises, so he runs away |banghead| I go in, turn on the lights real quick, look around & see nothing. I still have no idea what set the alarm off - nor do I have an idea why I'd think a bugler would be out at 2 AM in the rain trying to steal a Ms Pac Man game :D

I'm glad we were still awake when this happened - I can't imagine waking up in the middle of the night & doing that all disoriented & sleepy.

Not a thing happening except it's a beautiful day here and it was hard to steer straight back here after some early errands this morning. I may have to duck out early later if the rain on the forecast doesn't show up.

GG - It sounds like you may want to arm yourself on those "is there an intruder?" walks to the pool house... with that guard dog, I mean. The image of him running away just when you yelled "Go get 'em!" had me laughing here.

Not much today..swapmeet and pizza for din din. that's about it. Hopefully peeps will come out today and do some XXXmas shopping.

Oh and Colbert is in town for the Comic Relief at Ceasar's this weekend so I'm trying to finish my ColBear and get it over to the CR office before Saturday. I was thinking i'd do one for Bear Maher too. :-) or Whoopi Goldbear. |loony|

Finally got to see the doc yesterday and got my little medical issue dealt with...on the mend now.
