According to FSC Chairman and adult entertainment attorney Jeffrey Douglas, the Federal Bureau of Investigation violated the injunction when agents inspected the records of secondary producers Legend, Pure Play Media, and Robert Hill Releasing.

A backlash would really suck, especially for smaller webmasters.

It should be interesting how it will play out in court.

I think the key is "American Library Association v. Reno [1995]" which the DOJ is banking on, without that case the DOJ position would crumble.

Basically, they are immune from prosecution. With good reason I may add.
Forget the 2257 stuff for a sec, if they didn't have immunity, then Anything undercover would be illegal. It'd be sort of tough to stop a speeding car without speeding yourself. :D

I don't think disrespecting a judges orders fall under the same thing though.

And any higher-ups probably don't qualify for same kind of immunity as LEOs performing their duty.
