IE gap between table cells
Hi there
I am having some trouble with IE and a 1px gap between table cells, I can't get that gap to go away and it makes my site look ridiculous! in Firefox everything looks fine but in IE it looks terrible, anybody know how to get rid of this stupid problem? It is only vertically I have the problem, horizontally it looks ok Thanks |
Got an example we can look at?
Did you use cellspacing=0 ? |
Tables suck man! You are probably using Dreamweaver or something similar like me, and I have trouble with tables, I look at the source and it looks fine, then when in IE, one cell, the text is top aligned and the other cells its in the middle. I also had the same thing as you with the gaps when I was making my tgp site, and I showed the code to several people and they were dumbfounded as to why it had the gap. Tables suck! Try making the table again from scratch.

I've found that sometimes problems like this can be isolated more easily by validating the page :)

I think that background is hard on the eyes and makes your text and links hard to read.
