The Problem with long review queues

is that, lets say you submitted a site 4 months ago and it just gets reviewed today and they dont like something about your site, there now you have 4 months, or 80 sites approx worth of sites that are likely to have the same stuff the reviewer didnt like in the first site, LOL. I just read the sultans thread about their queue, no wonder I havent got anything listed, :D
(of course, I do understand the reason for queues etc. I read the other thread, its just something I thought of.

Yep, that's something that I worry about too. A few sites have almost two hundred of my freesites waiting for review, but I have no idea if I'm going to get mass rejections or not.
I've sent messages to a couple of Link List owners here on GG&J and received positive responses, but I'll still be worrying until those first sites start getting listed.
One link list had added me to their blacklist by mistake so I lost out on a few months of potential listings from them, but I had no idea because I thought they just had a long review queue. I get listed there regularly now which is great, but if I hadn't sent a message asking if there was a problem.......|cry|
:)

Some of my sites have been in a queue for almost 1.5 year now, I think you know who I'm talking about :)
I think they are ready to be reviewed now :)

JD, I received your application and will get back at you asap.

I keep detailed records of every site/mirror, to whom and when I submitted, if there were any submission problems, etc.

At one point I had addopted a practice in building freesites that one LL didn't like. One site got rejected. I knew I had a few weeks worth of sites sitting in the queue that would get rejected too. I checked my records, made the necessary quick changes, and stopped the practice.
