Recip Links Question
 

Hi everyone: I've been building freesites for a couple of months now and so far I've always used the recip link banners provided by the link lists. I've seen some sites that use text links (which I think look neater on the index page) and I have just put together this index page for a new site, my first one with text links.

I would like your opinion on whether you think that these recip links would be acceptable to the LL owners? Or should I change them in any way.

Did any of those pre-built recips have title tags? If they did you should make sure that your custom built recips retain those same title tags.

If you do different niches you have to be careful, recips to Greenie can change the anchor and destination of the main (non-category) recip per niche.

You've only got 6 recips, you could double that to 12 and still be under-doing it. With custom recips I think you could get that number to 16 without worries, and I can think of at least one LL you are not submitting to.

Other than that, they look good to me.

If you get snazzy with your mirrors, many lists will even accept as many as 20 recips. :)

Also, about title tags, to make things easy I give everyone a title tag. It's a lot of work to do at once, but once it's done, and stored in my own database, I don't have to worry about someone feeling like I'm not treating them fairly.
