Happy Radio Show Tuesday (I think)

Kind of sure we are doing a radio show tonight. But, you never know :) Both of us seem busy this time of the year for some reason :)

Anyway, Happy Possible Radio Show Tuesday.

Watched The Lost Room last night. Interesting show, set my Tivo to catch the rest of it.

Doing the gym thing once I've awoken and then just a day of work and errands planned.

I had my dvr catch that one but haven't watched it yet. I just told it to go ahead and catch the other two parts.

Tell me about it. Yesterday got warm and it's getting warmer today. Should be 80-81 here soon. Once the sun starts hitting the side of the house later it'll definitely be a/c time.

A good (no-radio-show) Tuesday to all.

:)

Mornin' y'all,

Finally rec'd the replacement lamp from Mitsubishi and we now have a functional HD TV again.

Been busy this AM, didn't get a chance to post earlier... so, sorry but |coffee is all gone

I could have sworn you told us that yesterday.

Finally getting caught up from the avalanche of the last few weeks. After watching Everest on Discovery channel, my wife says I cannot climb Everest. Tonight's episode covers the descent of one of the teams and should be quite interesting.

Its so easy now with all the ropes and ladders... where's the challenge in that? :)

It amazes me to see the amount of technology taken up nowadays, the technology that supports the team, the high tech foods, etc. and then I remember that Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norga did it without guide ropes having been laid first, without ladders to traverse, without the high tech tents, oxygen bottles, high calorie food, satellite weather forecasting, etc.

Not too many great frontiers to discover now.

Well, I guess the Moon in 2024, or mars after that.

Hopefully if there is a radio show I'll be able to make it. Have a few things on the schedule today that conflict.

And driving a modern day car without the serpentine belt -- not advisable. I know its cheaper to manufacture, but, no power steering, no a/c, no alternator, no waterpump all in one shot. :) Repair shop is earning their Christmas bonus for sure.

Linkster 2006-12-12 01:50 PM

Good morning - I think :)

cd34 - I think they decided to cancel tonight - in a previous message or maybe Im just having dejavu |jester|

Tell me about serpentine belts - I remember the first year Ford started using them on F 250 diesels - had 150 miles on it when the first one went - seems that my truck was used as the test bed to find out what shim kits they needed to release to line up the belt before it would eat itself - in the last 16 years I dont think Ive ever gone anywhere without at least one spare under the seat and the tools to replace it

urb 2006-12-12 03:52 PM

I love my diesel, sometimes I just sit on my driveway and listen to the engine tick over.

jonnydoe 2006-12-12 03:54 PM

I was doing the same thing...I don't understand why they keep sending it since I told them I already have both ;-) Raining like a cold bitch here...

I just realized that I made my 100th post! And probably the dumbest one yet...
