Not getting Listed
 

I've made my first freesite but after several revisions I haven't been able to get listed. I've submitted to Hoes and Adult List twice, and most recently Virexy. It's not so much that I'm not getting listed thats frustrating, it's that I've never even gotten a rejection e-mail. Anyone have any advice? |huh http://footjobs.smut-guide.com

You're using a sub-domain which pretty much an instant rejection with most LL's. You better use subdirs like http://www.smut-guide.com/footjobs/
You're also using a lot of blind links like "Click here to start downloading now". There's a great thread about blindlinks somewhere on this board but I'm to lazey to look it up. I'm sure someone else will be less lazy than me :)

And 6 gallery pages? Ain't that a bit much for a freesite?

Thanks for the help, I'll change that stuff and try again. As for the 6 galleries, I just got tired of seeing free sites with the exact same basic layout. I'm just hoping my sites will convert better than average.

It might be a good idea to use an html validator and look at your site in a couple of different browsers. ;)

Did all of the stuff suggested and still no listing. I've tried hoes, adult list, virexy, and hq porn all several times each. I spent a lot of time making this site, can anybody see what the problem is? http://www.smut-guide.com/footjobs/

You only have 1 recip in Your recip table, no LL wants to be listed alone.

You have 6 galleries for 1 free site, normal is 2 maybe sometimes 3 but 6 is just too many.

Your galleries aren't in the same folder as Your freesite, this is a nono, Your entire site should be in 1 folder.

I'll just hit on the most obvious. Your site structure sucks. Why don't you have all your pages in one folder?

You have a lot of galleries for a single site. I don't know where you are submitting but some places have a maximum and a minimum of pics and movies. You have enough for a few sites.

From the one recip link you have on the index, the text is almost unreadable due to the color.

I didn't look any deeper than that other than a quick look. You should keep in mind a site that is easy to navigate with little or no confusion goes a long way toward gettting listed.

Edit: I see Xallow types faster than I do. :)

And maybe put some banner instead of those screens on your warning page. Some of teh LL dont like ads that looks like thumbs.

Other than the previous comments, which are all valid...the site has some potential.

I'd suggest you take a cruise through some of the listings at a major link site like Greenies Link o Rama and see what's getting listed. You'll find that your site is close, but missing the mark in some critical areas.

Your site structure is very strange and few want to be linked to numbered pages.

You have way too much content for a single free site. We don't want to give it all away...the point is to tease and sell, not to give the surfer enough to finish the job for free.

And as has been mentioned, nobody will link to a site with a single recip. If you're using the recip tables provided by the link sites, start with 8-12 recips and see how that goes.

Most of us started the same way :)

Once you've got it hanging building freesites will be a piece of cake. Just be patient, listen to everyone's suggestions, learn, build the site that will get listed and you'll be rewarded in the end.

I agree with Fonz...don't get too discouraged :)

Your site isn't that far off the mark at all. Some relatively minor tweaking and you'll be good to go |thumb

Myself, like many others here I'm sure...would be embarrassed to show some of my early work |loony|

If I showed my first free site attempt to God... He/She would break down laughing his ass off (even if He/She hadn't just smoked the biggest joint in heaven) and I would be the clown of eden for the rest of my afterlife.

And of course check out the sites your submitting to, see what they are listing.

Great thread i to was wondering the samething about sub domains since i too an just getting started doing free sites.
