Christmas News from the Keys (there's hope yet)

I think most of us wonder from time to time what kind of future world the young kids of today are going to build together. We're already leaving them an uphill fight, and I'm not sure we've trained them so they're up to the task. But stories like this one in my local paper help remind me that they're probably going to surprise us.

Yes, I definitely thought of Jim when I read this story, and wondered if someone from his (wife's?) family had run away to Key West years ago.

From the story:
He wore a red T-shirt, but that was the only physical similarity between J.J. Bright and Santa Claus, other than the gifts he will bestow on hundreds of Monroe County children, and a few adults, this holiday season. Bright, who's 14 years old and attends Key West High School, bought 320 bikes for underprivileged kids in the Florida Keys using money he earned through real estate investments and fundraising efforts.
The whole story is attached below.

Merry Christmas world.
